Because everything about adventure time would get FUCKED UP!!!! if they were a couple? Because i personaly hate the stupid discusting and disturbing pictures on google every time i go on google i mean WTF!!!!!!! Who ever thought of putting lesbian characters on a cartoon show for kids!!!!!!!!!!!

@dadadas: Why Finn and PB AREN'T a couple? They could have been, but Princess Bubblegum was too old for Finn and that's why she keeps pushing him back. Remember when PB was 13 in Too Young, she said she didn't want to grow up and wanted to stay with Finn as a 13-year old. Proof that she DID like him, but keeps pushing him back cuz she's too old for him.

And u know why Bubbleline cant? Lets just say if Candy people found out that their beloved princess was a lesbian dating with Marcy, what would they react? 100% total support, dude??? Nah, i dont think so, it would make some (or even most) of them thought that their leader was somewhat unstable, not really normal people, they would be confused, they wouldnt be always supportive to her, they would mostly doubted her leadership skills... and then someone else would grab this chance... to mess things up for their own purpose

Not dissing your like or something but the truth is the plot has gone this far, there is no way back.

PB will still be the benevolent ruler of the Candy Kingdom, with or without Marcy. The Candy people trust her very much. Plus, PB already dated somebody- Old Mr. Creampuff! So she can date who ever she wants and be with who ever she can, the Candy People won't hold her back. You KNOW she is the ruler, and they trust her so much..

But hey, it wouldnt be like EVERY SINGLE CANDY PEOPLE would completely trust her & 100% total support her all the way, at all the time, in all the situations ...If that les thing happened, their trust for her wouldnt gonna be INCREASED at all, IT WOULDNT BE THE SAME... Do u think EVERY SINGLE CANDY PEOPLE are loyal subjects to PB like peppermint butler, cinnamon bun??? Plus the fact is her leadership, her ways of treating people arent always right, arent always the best for candy people at all the times, in all the situations.... For example: fedeulism & capitalism... And seriously, if whatever happens, SHE WILL STILL BE THE BENEVOLENT RULER of Candy kingdom then where is the democracy??? Do Candy people have to accept to be lead by PB all the time even when she is wrong, she is not normal?...If it was like you said then PB could do whatever she wanted and she didnt have to care about Candy people's thoughts simply because she had already taken a good care of them? U know why most of US presidents have only 1 incumbency = 4 years??? I agree that she can date whoever she wants BUT dont give a fuck to Candy people's thought, their feelings about the person whom she will date is completely not a good leadership at all, it would more likely be some sort of selfish, power control freak

The Candy Kingdom doesn't have a democratic way of leadership. In my opinion, they would still think of PB the same way, with or without Marcy. It's just love (or lust, whatever). PB can be with whoever she wants, I just like to see them together. It's MY opinion, and if you don't like it, KEEP THE HATE to yourself. You're making so much drama over this little thing, and I already said my answer: The Candy people will think PB the same way!
