Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 fantasy film directed da Tim burton and based on the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will utilize a technique combining live action, motion capture technology and stop motion.
Mia Wasikowska will portray Alice and the film is due for release on March 5th, 2010(USA).

Joe Roth was developing Alice in Wonderland in April 2007 at Walt Disney Pictures with Linda Woolverton as screenwriter. Woolverton added a socio-political context to the story. That November, Tim burton signed with Disney to direct two films...

Mia Wasikowska, the stella, star of Alice in Wonderland, discussed her experiences working on the phantasmagorical film with the Los Angeles Times.

How did shooting the film feel to the 20-year-old actress? "Isolating," she said, considering that 90% of the shooting was in front of a green screen.
