(this is what happened an ora after the end of part 9)

About an ora and a half after I had seen my Amore Scar in the arms of that Milly, the doctor came out to speak with me. He was a thin, tall, balding man of about 45.
"Colby?" he asked.
"Yes, sir," I said, standing and extending my hand.
He shook and introduced himself.
"How is she, doc?" I asked, scared shitless.
"She's refusing to be treated. I've tried explaining to her that she could die, but she refuses to allow it," he said.
"Why won't she?" I asked.
"She detto that she wanted te in there with her, but I can't allow that," Johnston said.
"Bullshit te can't!" I roared, pressing the doctor back against the wall, drawing the Walther, and burying the muzzle of the weapon into his neck.
"What-what're te doing?" he said, stunned.
"You're going to allow me to go back there, o I'm going to pull the trigger of this weapon," I snarled.
"Wh-"
"Shut up," I growled. "Let's go." I pointed with my free hand.
He turned and led the way down the hall to the examination room where Scar was. She had her head on the table, but she raised it when I walked in.
"C-colby?" she said, surprised to see the gun pointed at Johnston.
"Hey, babe, te doing okay?" I asked, nonchalantly keeping the muzzle of the gun trained on Johnston.
"What are te doing?" she said, shocked.
"I had to get back here and see te cuz this schlump detto te wouldn't let him treat you."
"I wanted te da my side," Scar detto sweetly.
"Well, now that I'm here, can he treat you?" I asked.
She agreed and I motioned for the doctor to get to work.
"Okay, what I'm going to have to do to sew up the wound is I'll have to put her under," Johnston detto to me, keeping an eye on the weapon.
"What would te be using?" I asked.
He gave me the name of a sedative, but I couldn't pronounce it if I tried.
Scar immediately objected to the use of a sedative.
"Scar, babe, if te don't, it's gonna hurt so much when he sews it up," I detto to reassure her.
She wouldn't cooperate.
"Babe, I'll be right here when te wake up, okay?" I begged.
Eventually, she relented and allowed the doctor to insert an IV into her foreleg.
The last thing she saw was my smiling face.

When she woke up after the stitching, the first thing she saw was me.
"Hey, baby," I detto softly.
She smiled woozily. "Hi babe!" she detto back.
On her shoulder, I could clearly see the patch where Johnston had shaved the pelliccia to make the stitches.
I picked her up, paid the bill, and left.
