When we left off Humphrey, Hunter, Kate, Moone, and the pups were going to an unknown destination for Macey.

"Humphrey hurry up. We need to catch up to Hunter." Says an angry Kate. "I had to have it Kate it is something so good I needed it." Says Humphrey with a guilty smile. "Why is it every time we see a cupcake we have to stop?" Asks Kate. "Have te tried one yet?" Asks Humphrey back.

"No. And I really don't want to." Says Kate. "Yes te do." Says Humphrey who then drops a cupcake package in front of her. "No I don't." risposte Kate. Humphrey smiles. "Why not? te have to admit it looks good and is not very fattening." Says Humphrey pushing the cupcake towards her.

"Ohh, te know how to change my mind." She says as she begins eating the cupcake. Humphrey smiles satisfied and watches Kate smile from the flavor. "You were right Humphrey this is good." Says Kate. Humphrey nods then begins heading up the hill.

As he makes it to the superiore, in alto he stops to see no one on the other side. Wondering where they went he looks around paying close attention. Kate then appears successivo to him. "Where...?" Humphrey begin to say. But Kate shuts his mouth with her paw. Then he notices hunters to the right. As he looks he sees them advancing on the bushes where he knew Hunter would hide with the pups.

"Kate we have to help them!" He whispers quietly. He looks then notices the hunters stop then turn around and run. Then he sees a orso chasing them. "Run to Hunter and the others so we can get out of here!" Yells Kate.

So they both start running then once they get through the bushes they notice Hunter crouched getting ready to jump on them. "It's us." Whispers Humphrey loud enough for Hunter to hear. He nods standing up walking to Macey and the pup along with Moone.

"Where did that orso come from?" Asks Humphrey silently. Hunter looks at him and nods toward the cave. "The hunters woke it up." Responds Hunter. Humphrey looks surprised at him. "Well we better get moving, wouldn't te say Hunter?" States Humphrey.

So they all start heading to the outerlayers of Canada. Humphrey stops. "I can't and neither can te Kate, o te pups." He says noticing this feeling in his mate. Kate looks at Hunter. "Sorry Hunter, he's right. We have to watch the pack. Don't worry though, Marcel and Patty will unisciti te shortly i'm sure." Says Kate wearily. Hunter nods and then vanishes with Moone and their pups plus Macey.

Humphrey watched them leave sadly. Hunter was a great friend who is now at the hands of Lupus, the lupo god. Thinks Humphrey. After a short while they begin to head back and get caught in yet another storm. Why is it always storms? Kate asks herself. Humphrey digs out a tana, den with the pups and Kate. They go in and fall asleep, unexpecting of what is going to happen in the morning.

As Humphrey lays there dreaming of adventures with Hunter and Moone, Kate is dreaming of fighting bears again. The pups on the other hand are thinking of new places and exploring endless terrain. As Humphrey awakes he sees something he wished never to see again. Someone to never know in the first place. Along with his pack. Humphrey awakens Kate and the pups and quietly they go to the back and lay don quietly.

Humphrey stares to the outside and Kate does the same. The pups go into a small crack in case if something were to happen to Humphrey o Kate. As they stare to the outside Humphrey sniffs and smells the scent strongly. Scar of all the Lupi thinks Humphrey sourly. Kate thinking the same thing hears a scraping sound.
