The Lupi all gathered around Tony's den, Garth had dragged his body out for everyone to see. Several sobs and sniffs were herd through the crowd. Garth pointed his nose to the sky and let out a deep sorrowful howl. The rest of the Lupi followed suit and the whole valley was filled with the beautiful song of mournful howling. Humphrey looked at Tony, the greatest Alpha he had and would ever meet. He had been like a fatherly figure to him in the past months, now gone forever.

Using two hollowed out logs they made a coffin for him and dug a hole and placed it in there. Golden light streamed in from behind the clouds and cast down on the grave, it was so beautiful. Kate wished she had gotten to know Tony better, now she would never get the chance to know him.

When the dirt was pushed back over the hole, Garth, Humphrey, Kate, and Lilly took a stroll to the superiore, in alto of the canyon walls overlooking the old eastern pack territory where Tony had ruled for years. The sun was setting and it was one of the most beautiful sunsets they ever saw. "I never realized how beautiful this place was," detto Garth. Together the four of them watched the sunset disappear. Tomorrow was a new giorno and they all hoped it would be better. Tomorrow Kate would go hunting for CJ and Humphrey; the Cibo supply was gone and it was time to go find more.
