An Alpha and Omega poem for my creative Scrivere class.


Seventeen. Not very old for someone like me.
Who likes the wars in the stars, o the Arrow that is green.
The radioactive lizard, the Draghi that are trained,
the fellowship of Isildur’s bane and the doctor with no name.

But just one thing and one thing only, has changed my life so much.
With myself, I have gotten in touch.
I never could’ve dreamed it would be like this.
This chance was either hit o miss.

It started when I was just a kid.
There was one movie I liked a lot, oh yes I did.
It was a movie that I just rediscovered recently...

As they moved through the night, the group began looking for a good place to sleep as Humphrey filled Kenya in on all she had missed over the past twenty years since they last saw each other.

"So," Kenya asked. "What were te doing out here before te found me?"

"I'm looking for our parents," Humphrey replied.

"Humphrey," Kenya said. "I'm sorry, but our parents are probably dead."

"But, how could te say that?" Humphrey said. "Look, I get it. te haven't seen them in years. Neither have I. But I miss them, più then te can imagine." Then he paused. "Well, actually not...
