I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘American Horror Story’ Spoilers — Ten Commandments Killer Revealed | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
as clueless as poor John, you’ll want to avert your eyes from this article faster than you would from the Addiction Demon.
But if you’d prefer to have a few clues dropped before settling in on the edge of your seat to watch “The Ten Commandments Killer” (tonight at 10/9c on FX), read on. We’ve seen the pivotal episode and can tell you that…
1. Yes, we do indeed learn the identity of the serial killer that John’s been chasing all season. And though many of you have already guessed whodunit, the big reveal is played with such intensity that it’s still pretty damned satisfying. (Emphasis, obviously, on the “damned.”)
3. A flashback reveals that The Countess’ abduction of Holden was motivated by more than merely her predilection for towheads.
of ’em — show us not only the beginning of a wholly unhealthy love affair between two of our main characters, but also the start of one of the odder bromances on record. (And for this show, that’s saying something!)
5. Though good help is notoriously hard to find, the Ten Commandments Killer, it turns out, has an accomplice with a knack for getting away with murder (after murder after murder after murder…).
6. Given the way that “Flicker” ended, it probably won’t come as much of a surprise that the hour starts with a dead body.
, it probably also won’t come as much of a surprise that the hour concludes with yet another dead body. (Hint: The vic is a character who’s been with us all season.)
8. The Ten Commandments Killer isn’t done yet! We are left with a promise of two more murders. (“Yay” seems like the wrong response to this news. And yet… )
9. In a scene that seems too brief, considering the significance of its subject, March reminds Sally of the bargain they struck to save her from a fate worse than death. (Sadly, no mention is made of ever saving her from the crimping iron.)
10. Finally, in what may be the greatest suspension of disbelief that the series has ever asked of us, one of our regulars turns down what is thought to be a proposition from Donovan. Yes,
So, who do you think the Ten Commandments Killer is? And who do you predict will be the stiff of the week? Hit the comments with your best guesses.
I think Mr. March is “guiding” John into being the killer which is why he will run to the authorities. Mr. March was at the 1st crime scene and then mentioned to John (later) that he was finally finding his place at the Cortez.
It’s John, I don’t know who else would run to confess
It’s 100% John, I’m just interested to see how they spin this. Been trying to figure out the logistics of it for a while now and can’t quite manage it!
I really like this season and I feel like it’ll end up being one of the bests ! My guess is also John, but I’d like to be surprise in the way it will be revealed and how they show us how he did !
For the unexpected death I’m rooting for Alex (Chloe Sevigny)
My odd issue tonight (and miracle of miracles, my DVR seems to be acknowledging it), is that because Arrow has an extra two minutes (and it really ought to because I don’t think the Flash technically did have two more minutes, I have almost the full previously on iZombie on my DVR) it appears Supernatural runs late too. I don’t know what is happening with Empire, but this is recording at the later time.
I also have come around to, yes, its obviously John. But its kind of curious too (though obviously he has an accomplice, besides Wren that is) because I think they actually set up an alibi for him. And I sort of feel like the first murder scene we came to, that the left alive dude might be able to describe like that he heard the same voice.
All I want is to see more Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, and Sarah Paulson and less Wes Bentley. The John character has been the worst and most boring part of the show for me along with AlexI hope they don’t kill off Donovan or Romana. We’ve barely seen anything with them and there just would have been no point of bringing on these great actors in the first place only to barely use them.
Apparently episodes 9 and 10 will be focused on Ramona and Donovan’s revenge against the Countess so I guess they are safe.
Sarah Paulson seems to have a bigger role in episode 8.
Those three actors will probably get bigger in the last episodes.
That’s great to hear. Three of my favourite actors on the show. I was very annoyed with how underused they were.
I would never turn down Matt Boomer!
Perhaps tonight is the night that the Countess takes care of Will Drake???
I thought it’s been made overly obvious that it’s John. Although he is, of course, unaware of what he’s doing.
(1) He’s invited to the serial-killer dinner party on Devil’s Night. All of the other guests are serial killers. The invitation implies that John is also a serial killer, that he belongs at that table with the rest of them. When March says that “John is clearly not yet our kind,” I think he’s referring to the back that John doesn’t yet own/realize his killer self — which leads to:
(2) All his blackouts. His kills are what happen during his “missing time” episodes. He finds out about the most recent murder in the church after having waken up in bed with Sally not remembering how he got there.
(3) The fact that’s he remained pretty much undisturbed in the Hotel Cortez (up until Alex recruited the two Scandinavian girls to mess with his mind, so that he’d move out and stop pursuing Holden). It seems like the fate of all ordinary guests at the Cortez is to end up as fodder for the various long-time “true” denizens of the hotel. But the hotel doesn’t eat its own. The fact that John hasn’t been exsanguinated by vampires, sodomized by ghosts, sewn into a bed, buried alive behind a fake wall, or otherwise done away with suggests that he isn’t an ordinary guest.
(4) And then the final moments of this last episode, when Wren tells John that to find the killer he has to go home. I mean, really.
I will be shocked if it isn’t John. If this is supposed to be a Big Twist, it hasn’t been made all that twisty.
The season is a complete failure plot-wise. There is absolutely NO HYPE whatsoever on who’s the killer. No one cares since it has been plot C if not D for about half the season. Ugh, I am so frustrated they wasted a very good idea and great characters on that.
John, John, John – if it is John, then they simply ripped off Mickey Rourke from Angel Heart…a killer that investigates the crimes to find out in the end, he has been searching for himself. I will be very disappointed to say the least.
We all want to assume it’s john…but what if it’s Holden…..and his ” vampire older sister ” has to hold his Hand to walk him across the street…then john just confesses because…. his son did go missing…and doesn’t want cops to think he’s even more crazy ” my missing son is killing people… “
john is too easy a guess I think thats what they want us to believe,,, for a time i thought his wife but not sure now,,, but iam guessing…someone you didnt see coming could be mr.drake, or i thought of john’s partner,, the black guy for awhile now
I’m wondering when they are ever going to mention the vampire schoolchildren again. They must be running amuck killing people.
I’m actually enjoying this season! Once again, it suffers from lack of definitive plot, but its creepy and the characters are interesting and consistent, which is a step in the right direction. I too think it’s John who is the killer.
