The writting? from her past. Everything that has moved her in her life, the good and bad, has dato her inspiration. Musically, I know she is truly inspired da Nirvana and Bjork. She LISTENED to Nine inch Nails, when she was younger, but I don't know of that's one of her insprations. She like's Muse though. The old Rock in the days of KoRn, and Seether, and pistole 'n' Roses *sigh* Rock was truly great back then. :)
