What is Anime similar to Death note?

My brother really liked Death note and he asked me for recommendation on an Anime that would be similar, the best I could come up with was Black Butler o maybe Soul Eater, Help please!

Yeah I was thinking Black Butler to cause it does have the demons and shingami but it also has a mystery plot to it

If your into murder and suspense try Another, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom and Speed Grapher(has alot of ecchi as well as blood so if your not into that dont watch)

Another: shares the suspense aspect of Death Note thats really enjoyable

Phantom: Has good character developemen and the main character was once a nice guy just like Light but is turned into a killer, and both Death Note and Phantom turn into crap at the near the end ...

Speed Grapher: Is about a photographer who kills using a camera... similarities...maybe?
