How do te come up with an anime/manga story line?

What is the best way to come up with your own anime/manga story line? Just curious about different methods. I want to draw a manga ;)

I write my own manga too! :D ... and... Well, i came up with some story lines while sleeping O_o ... And i think of some new ideas totaly randomly and i always write them down ASAP... So... i don't really think there is a "best way" to come up with a story, it just randomly comes... Also te could find a good idea just from your everyday :) (And te can change that into any genre te want)

Your right! I get ideas all the time, but forget them in the successivo few hours -_-

Make sure to write them down when te think of them!! :) ... (>_> and soon you'll start to wonder what to do with all the ideas...)

Yeah, thats another problem.....I have so many scattered ideas, but they contradict each other in every way possible v.v

As manga is often serialized, however, it's best to have a storyline that can span for quite some time without the reader getting bored. Sub-plots are essential.
