As for the history, I believe the oldest Anime short was animated around 1912-1922? I'll look into that, in a little bit.

Well Anime is obviously about animazione first started creating in Japan, but it soon influenced people to other things such as drawing your preferito characters, but if te want help on knowing when it was first created:

First of all your drawing is awesome, secondo te can tell him some lessons te learnt from Anime o some quotes, it may leave a good impression.

I did a speech about the history of anime/animation, and even a PowerPoint. I would srsly mostra it to but I'm not on my cp right now.
I know the creator of the first Anime was a man named Akira, he was influenced da Walt Disney.
In which, in the end Astor Boy was created.
