Gilbert is so CUTE, the way he follows Anne around and acts so obviously infatuated in the original. I also love how Anne tries to pretend to be indifferent to his affections, but at the same time you can so tell she returns his feelings.

My favourite part is at the very end, when he calls her 'Carrots' in such a tender voice while brushing her hair back, and then walking her home :)
