Authors Note: Hello all! I haven't written an Azula piece in awhile. This is another imagining of her POV after her Agni Kai loss to Zuko and Katara. It's formatted as a letter to her mother from the mental facility. Enjoy!
Dear Mother,
I know te will burn this letter, and I know I've become an even larger disgrace to te than before, but I am lost. I know not what will become of me o my legacy. The legacy that was stolen from me. And the legacy I was weak enough to lose. "Such a spoiled princess.", the servants would say, "And such a lonely soul." I've caused many peolle so much pain and so much needless suffering. All for your love. I wanted te to say I was your little girl, triumphantly standing above the burning earth. I wanted te to hold me. But instead, te held Zuko. He's beaten me again. I've been deposed, I've been mocked, and most of all, I've been humiliated. They stood at a distance and watched as the hot tears of a battle well Lost exploded out of me and into view. Zuko and his peasant. They chained my body, and they chained my spirit, Mother. I couldn't run and hide behind the crimson threshold of the palace walls. I couldn't hide behind my name. And I couldn't hide behind the loving embrace of another human being. I'm confused, Mother. I'm a fake. A bad lie. And a monster. te were right. The monster has been muzzled, locked away behind the iron walks of deception she herself fashioned from her very own foolish hopes and wishes. My eyes ache with dryness, for the flowing tears of yesterday have ceased to accompany my sorrows. "She's sick.", they say. "Erased from history. A nut, a crazy, a demon, and a sad little girl who wanted her mommy." As I finish this letter, I beg te to understand that I have received my just rewards and that my destiny has been sealed. It was all for you, Mother. And it was te for whom my flame of destruction burnt. The flame has been extinguished and so has my will to carry on. My soul has turned to ashes at the mercy of the flame of destiny, the flame of my greatest shame. Goodbye, Mother.
Sincerely,
Your Monster, Azula.

Yue walked down the dark hallway as the candles flickered silently. The icey air bit at her face. Her turqouis parka trailed behind her as she calmy moved further and further down the dark hallway. At the end of the hallway was a room that lit the end of the hallway. She walked inside to see a man sleeping on the bed.He had been injured protecting her. Yue pulled up a chair successivo to the letto and held the mans hand. His icey hands struck through her guanto but she didnt care. The only thing that mattered was she was here with him.
