Part 2: Katara
Even tough I had to push Sokka's rusty old car ALL the way to school, I still arrived to class right on time! Lucky me!
The teacher still didn't came when I arrived, as usual. I was heading towards my seat, when I passed da Zuko's desk.
There was something odd about him. I glanced at him to have a better look. He wore bandages covering his left eye; this was very strange.
"Zuko, what's wrong with your eye?" I asked him.
He glanced at me, then turned his head away.
"Nothing." he grumbled.
"Are te sure? There are bandages covering your eye--"
"I'm fine!" Zuko raised his voice, still facing the other away. "Leave me alone."
I stood quiet for a while, then I continued to walk towards my desk.
Our teacher arrived a few minuti later, he was with a new student. Our teacher was Prof. Roku, he looked old, had a long white beard, golden eyes, and a kind gesture. The student he was with looked very young for a High School student, he wore a brown wool berretto, tappo on his head with an Arrow on it, an organe button down camicia with a tan sweater on superiore, in alto of it, he wore a pair of jeans and black velcro sneakers. He had dark grey eyes, and a dark brownish hair color. He looked at me and smiled. I just sat there bewildered.
"Alright, class!" called Prof. Roku. "This young man here is Aang, he is our new student in Four Nations High."
The class made mumbling sounds amongst their friends.
"He may look young, infact he is." continued the professor. "He is only twelve years old, but because of his vast knowledge and wisdom, he was accepted to enroll in High School. So I expect the best behavior from te towards him."
He gesutred Aang towards our class, he usually does that when he wants to say: "Sit anywhere te like".
Aang looked around the class; after a long time gazing through the faces of each pupil, he met my eyes and smiled again. This time, I smiled back.
He began to walk to the third scrivania, reception to my right, and sat down. He kept gazing at me with a kind smile as he walked up to his new desk, and I replied to his kind smile with a little giggle. I new from that moment, that Aang and I would be good friends.
"Alright! Let's begin class!" began Prof. Roku as he started to write notes on the chalk board.
I was jotting some notes down on my notebook, when I note slipped onto my desk.
I unfolded the note, and it read:
Hey, will te go skateboarding with me?
-Aang
I looked at him after I read it, he looked at me smiling. I smiled back and wrote down my answer to his domanda on the note. I folded the note again, and gave it to some kid to pass it to Aang.
This is what I wrote:
Aang,
I'd Amore 2 go skateboarding with you! Meet me after school.
-Katara.
I watched him unfolding the note and Leggere what I wrote. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back, and continued Scrivere the notes from the chalk board.
