Chapter 2: Learning Chinese
The rest of my giorno went normal. Math, English, health, and stupid science. My last period was language class. Not language arts, the language class where te learn different languages. I signed up to learn Chinese under my dad's request. Hayden signed up too, and when I walked in with Hayden I found my older brother Eli, the 14 anno old earth bender.
He sat with a cute girl with blond hair and giant blue eyes like the pacific ocean, dark yet pretty. They were laughing at the fat, wrinkly skinned teacher for language class. I was pretty sure he was flirting with this girl, thats what my stupid brother Eli does.
He ruffled his sandy hair and sat up tall, trying to look buff o hot. I don't know why boys do that, all the girls ever think is that they are being an idiot.
Hayden and I sat at our normal seats and pulled out the assignment. I eyed Eli and the girl.
Suddenly the girl flicked her hand up at the sink in the corner. She moved her hand around, and pulled the water out of the sink without even touching it. She moved the water towards Mrs. Chen (the language teacher) and immediately dropped her hand, making the water fall as well. I gasped. She was a water bender!! No wonder Eli liked her!!
I got up and ran to the girl and Eli ignoring the thought that my teacher had just been soked.
"Eli! who's this? She's a water bender! Thats so cool!!" I detto almost yelling, but I had to be quiet. I had never known another bender besides Hayden outside our family.
"Sydney go away!" Eli said, giving me the move-over-you-loser-stop-annoying-me-I'm-trying-to-get-this-girl look!!
I just smiled and kept talking. "So whats your name? I'm Sydney, Eli's brother, a fuoco bender."
The girl answered me with a sweet, crisp voice. "My name is viola Jacobs. So your Eli's sister? te look so nice! And your a fuoco bender? Eli told me he was the ONLY bender in his family!"
"UM.....about that......." Eli said, a little scared. I just laughed.
Suddenly the campana, bell rang. Class was starting. I ran to my scrivania, reception right as Mrs. Chen looked at me.
The rest of the period was pretty boring. Mrs. Chen just talked about china. I wasn't listening, I already knew everything she said. Man, I had been to China!
When I was seven, my family took us to China and Giappone to visit some Chinese ruins. Most tourists, when they saw them, thought the sites were just random Emperor temples. The temples we visited were the fuoco lords castle, Avatar Roku's old island, Avatar Aang and his wife Katara's home on an air nomad Island, stuff like that. My preferito was Toph Bei Fong's old home. The tour guide detto it belonged to a Chinese princess who was extremely violent. I understood how they thought
that because the entire house was full of old knifes, swords, burnt rocks, destroyed make up bottles, and such. te walk into the big, messy, green house and te know one thing. Toph has definitely been here.
In her house there had been three paintings. One was of a tall man with a scar on his eye. He also wore the fuoco lord crown on his shaggy black hair. I recognized who it was. My ancestor, fuoco Lord Zuko and his wife Mai. He had one kid, a small girl that looked like Azula, but with a sweet, kind face.
On another painting was of a 21-year-old looking man with a blue Arrow on his head and an air bending necklace. He wore an arancia, arancio and yellow robe. da the looks of him, he looked really important. I expected him so have a sad face like Zuko did, but instead his eyes popped out and his smile was as wide as his face, like he was trying not to laugh.
successivo to him was a girl in a blue robe, with her hair done up like the girl on the cartoon show. Beside the couple was two kids, a boy and a girl. The girl looked just like the woman, and the boy was a tiny version of the Arrow head guy. This was Avatar aang and Katara's family.
The last painting showed a man with blue coats and animal fur. His expression gave away that he was Sokka. te could tell with his sarcastic face and ugly hairdo. successivo to him was Suki in her Kioshi warrior uniform and six kids, each a mixture of Sokka and Suki.
Okay, now back to america.
During class, while being bored to death, Hayden passed notes. I played with a small ball of fuoco in my hands under my desk, but I was still bored. Finally the campana, bell rang for the end of the school day. I jumped out of my sede, sedile like all the other kids and followed Hayden to our lockers.
Right after school, was karate class, were te learn karate. Us benders, its just your normal lesson on controlling the elements.

This is just around where my story begins
This da far was the most epic episode I have seen in the entire series. Starting with Aang and Zuko's firebending training, right down to the final scene with Katara and Aang(nearly cried, but was clapping). It even seemed that Sokka's jokes were funnier! In my opinion, the best battle was Azula and Zuko's. The best moment was definetly a tie between Prince Zuko being introduced as the fuoco Lord and the Final scene with Katara and Aang(no spoiler). The most epic moment, definitvely was the scene when Aang was securing fuoco Lord Ozai and taking his bending skill away. Strangely, it can't be the end! Zuko met up with his father at the end to ask him about his ,supposedly dead, mother's whereabouts.
