voice actor interview is with Jessie Flower, the talented voice actress behind the character Toph, Aang's powerful earthbending teacher.

Enjoy!

Acastus: How did te get involved with the show? Did te audition for Toph at the same time as Meng, o did the opportunity to play Toph develop later?

JF: First, I auditioned for Meng, then I got the part, and then they decided I might be a good voice for Toph. So, I auditioned for that, then got that part. Which actually at the time, Toph's name was "The Blind Bandit".

Acastus: Since te originally played Meng, was it difficult to "switch gears" so to speak when te started playing Toph later on?

JF: No, not really. Because since I do a lot of other voice work, I am used to "switching gears" quite often so it was pretty easy and fun!

Acastus: What was it like joining an already established cast when te started playing Toph in the first half of season two?

JF: It was really fun. I got to meet all the people who played the characters, that was really cool!!

Acastus: What are the challenges involved in playing a blind character?

JF: Since it is an animated show, it's not really a challenge because she's is such a great Earthbender she can see with her feet.

Acastus: How do te interact with Andrea Romano, the Voice Director? How about with the episode directors? What kind of direction do te receive from each?

JF: Andrea and I get along great! She is hilarious. The episode directors are very fun and nice! Depending on the scene, the most common direction I get is to make my voice sound either tougher o più sincere.

Acastus: Conversely, how much creative freedom do Mike, Bryan, Andrea and the rest of the cast allow te to interpret your character(s)?

JF: They give me a lot of freedom. They let me try all different ways all the time, and if I don't hit something they like, then they direct me.

Acastus: In the episodes broadcast to date, how has Toph's character developed in your view? What were the challenges presented da that development and how did te deal with them?

JF: Well, she has become the Earthbender that she has always wanted to be. She is no longer stuck at her parent's house, and she has the freedom to do whatever she wants, and she gets to teach Aang how to Earthbend.

Adapting The Legend of Korra into live-action could prove challenging, primarily due to the complexity of one of the show's major storylines.

Sorry everybody, I haven't done an articolo in a while. I've been working on other club a lot so I haven't been here as much, however, I thought I would come back and write another article. This time, it's going to be my LEAST preferito characters from Avatar. This will only be including characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender, because if I included The Legend Of Korra then my whole lista would be Legend of Korra characters. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Enjoy the article! :)

*there will be spoilers of...

Something that I think about and mention a lot is how Azula was raised. Namely that she was basically a human weapon for Ozai. He pretty much saw her raw talent as a kid, the potential for power, and groomed her as a war child. In doing this I think that he gave her a very warped sense of self worth among other things. For as hard as she pushes other people, I feel like she holds herself to very high-standards too; no doubt that it's because of how she was raised.

Despite her confidant bravado, I honestly I feel like Azula could be probably one of the most insecure characters on the show. Hear...

Before anything else is stated I want it to be known that I do Amore both Azula and Zuko; so no this isn't gonna be a Zuko hate/bash Zuko article.

So instead of getting straight into the actual matter of the agni kai, I'd like to go over why I think Azula in general is più powerful than Zuko. This I will post from an older articolo (so if te read this one te may as well just scroll down lol); First and foremost, the obvious; Azula has Blue fuoco (supposedly hotter than any other fire) on the show. This is something unique to Azula and Azula alone. Where as Bloodbending is not unique to Katara....

This story will contain spoilers! te will understand when te read it. If te have not finished the series and do not want it spoiled then stop Leggere here.

This story is about Azula when she's on the path to insanity. This is what I think her actions, and thoughts were in between scenes from the series. Let's begin. Keep in mind that none of this is fact, it's just fanfiction.

Following the events of The Boiling Rock Part 2:

Azula had just escaped the island.
I can't believe that Mai and Ty Lee betrayed me! she thought, maybe it was that I controlled them through fea- NO. Fear is the most reliable...
