An Older Version of the Gaang

It had been a long time since they'd done anything as a family for the holidays. Zuko glanced over at an old family Natale photo. It would be just he and his mom this year.

Katara, Aang and Sokka all had plans to go back to the water tribes and enjoy some good old fashioned snow. Who could blame them, what was Natale without snow?

Azula sat in her prison cage. She thought she was beautiful. She knew she was beautiful. She couldn't let that Water Tribe scum mostra her off and take her down. It was her one moment of weakness...

If I wasn't in the Avatar state o the spirit world then where was I? I questioned that over in my head. I was scared and afraid. Until I felt the soft warm sensation of someone's hand on my shoulder.

No one was there though. So who? I was on the verge of tears. I didn't understand this at all. I was scared, I was a horrible bender, and I was in a place that I don't recall going to. Being the Avatar sucks.

I was confused so I lay down on the black dirt under my red Converse and tried to think. I twirled a long strand of brown hair in my fingers and licked my lips.

Shining blue light. Thats exactly what hit my brain the moment I heard her unforgettable words. I was falling, falling into nothing of blue light. It was blinding. I wanted to push out a scream but no scared sound left my lips.

Suddenly, I landed on a hard mass of burnt rock. Around me it was warm, and that warmness wasn't very welcoming. I felt a sensation of something lurking around, like a cat pouncing on a mouse.

"Hello?" I wanted to yell out. But oddly that sound didn't come out either. I wanted to cry. Where was I? I thought I was in my backyard with May. I swear I was. Unless it was...

"Aang we need to go NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed pulling Aang's hand and running.

"Why do we need to go?" He asked while running along side me.

Okay so this is basically our time, but in the united states. What happened was that Katara actually kept a diary about her life and some historians found it on a small island close to Japan. The historians gave it to some movie directors, and they created the Anime cartoon, Avatar the last airbender, based off Katara's diary. Now its 2010 and there are still benders around, but they keep their powers a secret because of the Nickolodean cartoon show, and because if anyone found a bender, they would be put in Jail. "Admiral Lee, get your men and ship ready to the Earth Kingdom. The Chikara Army has invaded the city of Gaoling."
