ALavigne.com.br did an exclusive interview with Spencer Hill, the cute guy who chases Avril on "What the Hell" Musica video! He's seems to be a really nice guy. :)

ALBR: Did te met Avril Lavigne before? How did they approach te for the role in "What the Hell" Musica video?
SPENCER: i had never met avril before the shoot but we have a lot of Friends in common. i was pleased to find out that she is an absolute sweetheart and we had a great time filming for a few days.

as is the case with most recitazione jobs, i had an audition for the video and received a call the night before the video started shooting from my agent letting me know they were interested in using me. it was a little unusual that the successivo morning i had still not heard whether they were going to book me on the job o not but i got a call saying that avril would like to meet me at the location they were shooting that day. they had narrowed it down to a handful of guys and were leaving the final decision up to her so i went to set, met avril and she ended up liking me the best i guess!


ALBR: It was a 3 giorno video shoot, right? Tell us a bit più about the shooting process. Was it fun, boring, tiring, easy to do, hard to do?
SPENCER: after they decided i was gonna be the guy for the vid, i went straight to wardrobe and we were filming directly after that. we had 3 15 ora + days, as is the case with alot of Musica video but the crew was awesome and the time passed pretty quickly. knowing the song was super catchy and would be seen da alot of people made the work exciting and fun and also knowing that she is one of the first artist's to have a 3D video out made it special too.


ALBR: For you, what was the most fun scene on the Musica video and why?
SPENCER: my most fun giorno of the shoot was definitely the giorno i was on the bike chasing after the cab. they had called a stunt guy, my friend jeff barnett, in to possibly do the bike stuff but it turned out it was pretty easy and not too dangerous so i got to do all my own stuff. having a few blocks of strada, via blocked off while shooting a scene is always fun no matter what it is. to see all the production that goes into those car shots gives te a new appreciation for things like that.


ALBR: Do te have any exciting, funny o embarrassing moments from set that te can share with us?
SPENCER: anytime te have to act like you're "making out" o being intimate with someone in front of a camera/crew can be a little nerve wracking and that was what we were doing for most of the first giorno after we had just met so that had the potential to be a little awkward, but we hit it off pretty well and we were both pretty comfortable and having some laughs in between takes so it went great. like i detto she is such a doll and just really energetic and fun to be around.


ALBR: If this video was like a real life experience for you, how would te react if your girlfriend locked te in a walk-in closet and left the house with te locked in there? Would te be chasing her afterwards? (laughs)
SPENCER: i can't say i have ever been locked in a closet yet. i'm sure there have been several of my girlfriends who would've liked to do that to me though!! i can't say whether i would chase after someone if they did that do me o not? i guess it would depend on the situation. i am a little bit of a slob so i might just stay in there and organize my clothes! haha


ALBR: Have te ever been in a Musica video before? Is it something te would like to do more?
SPENCER: i have come close to being cast in Musica vids before but this was the first one i was chosen for. i knew it was going to be long days, but that's the case with most productions no matter what they are for. seeing the end product is always the light at the end of the tunnel and i was pleased to see the end result!


ALBR: Can te tell us a bit più about your successivo career projects? What's the successivo sposta for you?
SPENCER: right now i am just auditioning all the time for tv and Film and hoping 2011 is my best anno yet!


ALBR: Did te ever visited Brazil? What's the first word that pops on your head when te hear the word Brazil?
SPENCER: i have thought about visiting brazil on vacation several times but haven't been able to get down there yet. i guess the first thing that pops into my mind when i hear brazil is beautiful women, beautiful beaches and great times! i hope to get down there sometime soon and see for myself!
