Bleach anime Domanda

Since spirits do not age in Soul Society, how is it that Renji and Rukia matured from being children?

Most characters clearly do not age in Soul Society (virtually everyone in Rukongai), other, younger characters have aged relatively quickly (Rukia, Renji), and still other characters have aged at a much slower rate (Yachiru). Is it somehow tied in with being a Soul Reaper and/or visiting the world of the living?

Thats a good domanda I wondered the same thing I gess your spirte can't age but te body grows it sounds weird but thats what I think.(oh well maby someone else will know I'm not to shur)
