[Undying Hatred: Funeral Procession]

(Ajisukitakahikone appeared abruptly, letting his power cushion the landing and he settled onto the cloud floor, his anger still apparent, even to those that accompanied him. Izanami had fought for a short time, then re-joined with them, admitting that she, by herself, was still not enough against three other Gods. He looked at Ares with a questioning look in his glaring eyes.)

A-kone: What happened to Odin and Anubis?

Ares: It seems they are still fighting against the pseudo-shinigami... Evidently, they are stronger than we first thought.

A-kone: Pitiful! Those two can't even finish off a couple of upstarts?!

Ares: Let's not be hasty... Odin is one of the most powerful Gods in existence - he isn't going to simply lose to a pseudo-shinigami and Anubis is a God of Death, too; he won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

A-kone: I hope you are right. Anyway, it is time... We honour Take now.

(Ajisukitakahikone lifted Take's body gently, carrying him in his arms, like a small child. A-kone walked for a while, making his way through the main hall, until they finally gathered in the observatory, where they could see the stars twinkling brightly in the distance. A-kone laid Take's bosy down gently, draping his arms and legs across each other, so they appeared to be folded. Then he looked up into the sky, raised his arms and cried: Raika! a Huge bolt of lightning struck Take's body, causing a small explosion and a fire to begin spreading over Take's body, which was slowly being reduced to dust.)

A-kone: Take... I'll miss you, brother. I can't believe that you are gone, all because of the selfishness and arrogance of the Unradical Gods. I'll make them pay for this - especially Shenlong. That bastard!

Ares: Rest in peace, fellow warrior, for you died fighting honourably.

(They stood in silence for a time, honouring the death of Takemikazuchi, the God of Lightning and Thunder, reminiscing on the times they had known him.)

A-kone: (Standing up suddenly) What is that? That feels familiar... KAMINARI!!!

(Ajisukitakahikone hastened to the edge of the observatory, to see a familiar face... One that he hadn't seen for some number of years.)

Kaminari: Brother! You bastard, what happened to Take?

A-kone: Shut your mouth! One of your fellow 'Unradicals' killed him, you selfish bastard!

Kaminari: IT WAS YOUR FAULT, YOU IDIOT!!!! He followed you and was lead astray by your misdeeds and foolish plans. How dare you!

A-kone: No! You piece of crap... He died because he didn't enough 'love' from his family, particularly his narrow-minded, unfeeling father, who never even told Take that he loved him. How dare you, coming here and blaming me for his death... at least I cared about him and told him so. You and father were nasty and selfish, and caused him to want to join my cause. From this point, brother, you are my mortal enemy, along with the fools that call themselves 'Unradicals'. Leave here, now, otherwise I'll kill you. Don't forget, I have two others with me and you have none. Disappear!

Kaminari: I hate you, brother... I'm glad I disowned you. You are no brother of mine. I'll go now, I can't stand to look at your self-righteous, arrogant face anymore!

(Kaminari disappeared almost as quickly as he had come)

A-kone: You'll understand one day, brother. (Sighed forlornly)

-Meanwhile-

(Odin released himself and looked at Mishiranu. The God of Death was starting to understand why the pseudo-shinigami were so tough - they could call on a huge amount of power from such individuals, taht had allowed themselves to become part of Shinigami culture, manifesting their Godly powers into Zanpakutous.)

Odin: I understand you lot, unfortunately, I have felt something amiss with my colleagues and must take my leave now. We will meet again, that I am sure of.

-What happened to Takemikazuchi? His energy and life-force simply disappeared and now they are all back at the hideout. I better go now, I can feel His anger emanating, even from there-

Mishiranu: You aren't going anywhere!

Odin: I'm afraid, young lady, that you cannot hope to stop me... I'll have to kill you if you try, as well.

(Mishiranu screamed in anger and started at the God, but was stopped by his finger.)

Odin: I was merely playing with you before. A Shinigami with God powers may be strong and have plenty of potential - in fact, you lot are plain dangerous... But, I am one of the oldest Gods in existence and I will not be stopped.

(Odin flicked his finger and Mishiranu was sent flying backwards into the side of a building, causing an explosion of rubble and debris.)

Odin: This is where we part. (Then he disappeared)

(Odin landed on the clouds, about ten minutes later.)

Oh, guys, I had a thought... The pseudo-shinigami should only be able to use God-step when they are in their Manifestation Forms... I don't recall anyone using God-step in Shikai or Bankai, anyway, but thought I'd point it out while I remembered.

@Gaia. Wow, it certainly has been a while, hasn't it. Are you planning to start writing again? If you are, please let me know your intentions, because we are getting close to a filler Arc and I want to make sure that everyone knows what they are doing. XD

@Exorcist, yes, it is your turn... I believe that Anubis hasn't quite finished fighting Johan and Cadence yet and the Unradicals are probably trying to find the Radicals, which will easier now that Kaminari has found their hideout. I'll let you figure out some ideas to go through and type up.

@Gaia, well, dude, you could write a post for the Schola and decide on a plan to invade the Soul Society and start preparing for it and such. XD. I'm going to write another side-story post soon and start the interesting stuff. Lol.

[Ma'at's Resolve! -Play music]

“If you insist on taking this to the extreme, Anubis, I will not hold back.” Ma’at said grimly. Anubis narrowed his eyes.

“Why hesitate?” He asked scathingly. “Why not come at me full force right now? Is it because you continue to looking down on me? Or is it because of that trash behind you? It is unreasonable for a god to stand between another god and mortals. Does it not disrupt the balance?”

“It does not.” Ma’at replied firmly. “You worked my scales in the Halls of Judgment, Anubis. You know that all souls are weighed equally, for all are equal. Though the weight of a soul was greater in the past, no matter how the weight changes, they are remain the same weight each. A king, commoner, princess, noble, slave…no matter who they are in social, military, or civilian status, when they die, their souls are weighed against the same feather.”

Ma’at plucked a feather from her forearm and held it up in order to back up her claim. “So long as a creature is sentient, it can make choices according to its will. Free will is something that we gods have no control over. That is why you are here, attempting to killing these souls. Your will and their will clash, and so, as any would, you fight, as is instinct. Can you argue that these ‘soul reapers’ do not have souls themselves?”

“But you said it yourself. The weight of a soul has lightened as of late. The death of a single one does not constitute much imbalance in the world any longer. The disappearance of these few will not harm your balance, nor anyone else’s.”

“No.” Ma’at said firmly. “It will harm their balance. You must consider everyone’s point of view.”

“Their personal opinions are of little consequence. Their will shall cease to exist in death, as will their pain and fear.”

Ma’at stared at Anubis, these words cutting into her more than anything said previous. Her bright eyes were slightly unfocused as they appeared to stare through Anubis with utter shock.

“Do…you really believe this?” Ma’at murmured slowly, her stunned state making it difficult for her to speak at normal speed. “Do you really believe that their opinions mean so little that once ignored, they will cease to have meaning, Anubis?”

Anubis didn’t reply. He merely stated back at her with fathomless eyes.

“Answer me.”

“A corpse has no further use than to be used in a ceremonial burial.” Anubis sighed at last. Ma’at’s eyes widened even further before relaxing slightly, her entire body became relaxed as she hung her head, her breathing becoming deep.

“I see.” She said at a normal volume level. With her head hung, it made the words unintelligible. “I see. In that case, you cannot leave. If there is one who resides in the Duat who believes that way, no doubt you are tainted with chaos. I shall purify you, Anubis. The cleansing will be brief but thorough. Drowah!”

She held her hands out, spread eagle, and an invisible barrier erected behind her, separating them from Cadence and Johan so finely, to the psuedo-shinigami, it felt as if they were watching the two gods through a television screen. Little did they know that rather than a single wall being put between them, an entire box had been erected surrounding them that had literally ripped them from the dimensional plane the gods stood on and put them in an alternate plane that was closely connected to, but still separate from, their own. Anubis observed with a snort.

“You’d go as far as to manipulate the Duat around them.” He muttered. “Rather drastic means of protecting them, isn’t it?”

“The Duat is the Egyptian ‘netherworld’ that exists as infinite layers placed over one another. The mortal world where there is no magic or powers exist at the topmost shallow layer. The deepest and most arcane magic that is the root of us all exists in the deepest, forgotten sublevels. The shinigami exist somewhere near the middle, where as we gods exist closer to the sublevels.” Ma’at’s glare was furious enough to burn holes in Anubis now. “But of course, you know all this. So long as they are locked in higher level of the Duat, there is no need to hold back my energy for their sake. Anubis, I will tell you this once more: stop your insane actions.”

“Are you resolved to fight me, Ma’at?” Anubis asked softly, ignoring her question. “Is the ever-benevolent goddess of peace and mercy going to erase my existence?”

“No.” Ma’at replied firmly. Winds had begun to pick up around her quickly, like a whirlwind, and the winds curled around them like a funnel, encasing them further. “I will not kill you. As I said; I will cleanse your spirit of your madness. I would never use this against anyone of lower class then a god nor a fellow Egyptian god, but I cannot accept your radical actions.”

She lifted her arms once more and all of her feathers split themselves from her harms, catching into the whirlwind and spinning rapidly around the two furiously. Anubis knew that trying to force his way out would end in his demise.

“Prepare for judgment, Anubis. It is time that your soul be weighed.”

“I will not be a victim of your bias, Ma’at.” Anubis growled as he raised his staff. It erupted into flames that roared around him. “If you will judge me; so be it. I shall overturn your verdict each and every time.”

Cadence was surprised when the energy from the fighting gods dropped down significantly when the winged goddess had used a barrier between them. Was it so strong that it could smother such powerful reiatsu?

Cadence shook her head, trying to get herself focused. She needed to use all the knowledge she had from when she had in the relief squad to help the horseman. She was pretty sure that the hole in his head was not supposed to be there. She expected him to be dead, but for some reason, he was still breathing.

Cadence placed her hands over Johan’s right eye and began to channel her reiatsu to heal it. But before she could make a solid attempt, Johan’s hand gripped around her wrist. Upon fainting, he’d reverted back to his shikai, so his armor was gone, leaving a mere lance at his side. Even so, Johan’s body was still strangely warm.

Johan sat up and sputtered water as he coughed, slamming one fist into his chest.

“Are you alright?” Cadence asked, concerned. Johan blinked at her.

“Yep.” He said grimly. “I’m alive, anyway. My body is killing me, though. Probably my manifestation’s recoil, or something.”

“Um, that’s not what I meant.” Cadence indicated what she was talking about by poking Johan’s right eye. And touching nothing.

“Aw, crap.” Johan muttered as he fumbled with his hands for a moment, touching his empty eye socket. He pressed his eyelid down gingerly, making it look like he just had one eye closed. “I forgot about that. I used Ittokaso, didn’t I?”

“How did you use such a powerful technique?”

“Thanks to Inti, I can use just about any fire or sun related kido with relative ease while in manifestation. I can’t perform something complicated, though, like Kurohitsugi, or Sajo Sabaku. I’ve never tried to use Ittokaso before anyways, because, you know, it’s a restricted spell. Though I’m not sure what made me decide to sacrifice my eye.

“That’s some stupid logic.” Johan muttered darkly.

“Um, sorry?”

“Not you.” Johan jumped in surprise at Cadence’s confused look. But before he could apologize, flying feathers caught his eye. “Who is that?”

“Oh, that’s the bird woman who saved your life. She said something about staying out of a fire and implausible odd numbers, or something.”

“Hmm.” Johan frowned as he glanced back at the woman standing with her back to them. They were being protected by a goddess? Was she one of Inti’s friends?

As for the Scola? That just makes it all the more badass when they make their comeback!!!

I'll explain, Gaia, the Schola disappeared while the current Arc came into existence. The fact is, no-one died, but Frost wanted Kenshi written out, so we decided that he was to be killed off; we never actually physically killed off, we just acknowledged him so. He can be brought back in if Frost decides to re-join, otherwise we'll just leave him out of the RP.

So far, the Soul Society has exiled anyone with Godly powers, including Renee (Whiteflame's former Captain). Raijin was also exiled, but was subsequently captured by Ajisukitakahikone and was left in the cells in the God's Realm. He was rescued by my other pseudo-shinigami character, Gaishima Shiretsu. He and Shishira rescued Raijin and they went into hiding in Hueco Mundo. Eventually, they were discovered by Ichigo and Raijin killed him for vengeance of Renji's death. Him and Gaishima trained, while the Soul Society and God's Realm were involved in a series of scuffles (mainly the God's realm). The Radical Gods and the Unradicals had a face-off, but Takemikazuchi (A-kone's brother) was killed by Shenlong, the God of Lightning and Storms (Exorcist's character). In the world of the living, the pseudo-shinigami were training to achieve their Manifestations, and Cadence and Johan fought against Anubis and were rescued by Ma'at. The others fought against Odin. Raijin and Gaishima also fought against Ulquiorra and Shuuhei in Hueco Mundo and Raijin was defeated by Ulquiorra, but Gaishima almost killed Shuuhei, by using his Manifestation, and thus Aizen became interested in such a power.

@Wanta and Gaia. I was thinking that the Soul Society would attempt to re-align themselves with Raijin. The pseudo-shinigami will have much less power by the end of this Arc, if you recall me saying so, Wantadog. XD. I think this should work itself out, though, we really just need everyone to come on and say what part they wish to play, so I can sort it out.

@Kage. Its fine, dude. Glad to see a post from you. I'll let you know when the filler Arc is going to come in, as for now, you could write a post to introduce your character, or something of the sort. Plus, feel free to start chatting to everyone on here, too.

@Fazoodle, I'll give you a description then. Basically, they are an ancient clan that was once devastated by the Soul Society and their king at time was sealed away. They are called the Schola (Latin for 'ancient warrior') and are known as the Light Clan, as they have proficency with manipulating and controlling light, to be used as a weapon.

[The Ancient Diety Reborn]

In the heart of a volcano in the relm of the gods, there lays a single majestic egg. Over the last thousand years it has been cracking slowly. The egg was placed created by Kronos in case something occured where he would die. He was wise to do this, because a couple thousand years ago, he was felled by his 3 sons. But now the egg is hatching, and the newly revived Kronos is angrier than ever.

Kronos emerges from the egg and wipes off the gooey gunk off of his shoulders. “I have been gone for far too long.” he growled in anger as he said “My sons shall pay dearly for this!”

Afterwards he bolted forward towards the nearest spiritual pressure he could find. Bukimi and the rest headed further in a random direction, they approched a great mountain.

Bukimi calmly said “There is a frightning spiritual pressure up this way.”

Isaac turned to face her as she spoke and said “No kidding, this spiritual pressure feels ancient, but there is something wierd about it.”

Makoto looked kind of scared as he was walking with them, the very thought of a being that possesed alot more spiritual pressure than set. Makoto gripped his sword tightly and whispered to himself: “Another thing that's wierd, is how the heck did it just appear so suddenly?”

Isaac: “Did you say something Makoto?”

Makoto replied: “It's just, I'm wondering how this being just suddenly appeared. My question is, can this thing move very fast, or was it just created?”

Bukimi says: “Nevermind that, I think it's headed in our direction. Also, I sence that Odin is no longer fighting.”

Makoto says: “Did they win?”

Isaac says: “I doubt it, Odin still seems to be at full power. His spiritual energy has not changed one bit since the battles have started.”

Bukimi says while scratching her head: “I think something caused him to retreat, mabey he wanted to investigate this spiritual pressure?”

Moments after they exchanged words they stopped in their tracks, they noticed that this otherworldy spiritual pressure was headed their way. It was coming so fast, that they barley had any time to hide. A old man approached them, he had a long beard that almost touched the ground, he wielded a long sicle with the shape of an hourglass no the tip end of it. He was dressed in a long white-gray robe with gold spirals down the back of the robe. He glanced between the Makoto, Isaac and Bukimi, he was puzzled by their unusual spiritual pressure.

Kronos spoke: “What's this? I thought I was sencing the spiritual pressures of Athena.., not to mention Set and Horus. How could you Shinigami possibley share the same spiritual pressure!?”

Isaac said: “You don't know? We're the Pseudo-Shinigami, we posses the power of the gods.”

Kronos was in shock, alot has changed over the last two thousand years. Gods were not allowed to transfer their powers to shinigami, the same way shinigami were forbid to transfer powers to humans.

Kronos was angered, and he began to yell: “What kind of game do the other gods think they're playing!? They must take enjoyment from disobeying the Ancients rules!
I am afraid I must erase your existances, to rid the worlds of your kind!”

Bukimi asks: “Just who are you?”

Kronos glared at her: “I will only say this once, remeber it while you're still alive mortal! I am Kronos, father of Zeus, Hades, and Posiden.”

Isaac widened his eyes and shouted: “That's impossible! Kronos was killed a long time ago by his sons! If you really are Kronos, then tell me, how did you survive?”

Kronos replied: “Don't you remember the legend, the legend of how the universe started in the first place? I hatched it, out of one Egg. These eggs can hatch anything from universes, to Gods. These Eggs take a few millenia time to hatch. To escape death, I placed a Time Egg in the heart of this volcano. My sons underestimated me deeply this time. After I kill you three, I will hunt for the other Abominations, and I will hunt my sons down and slay them.”

Bukimi says: “I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but we are not dying anytime soon.”

Kronos calmly said: “This discution is over. You will all shortly perish.”

Kronos took his long Sicle off of his back and readied his position. In a instant he appeared behind Makoto, he tried to block Kronos's scythe sweep, but as he parried the attack he got pushed a few feet and fell on his back.


Makoto panting: “His strength is unreal! But his speed on the other hand...”

Bukimi shouts: “Isaac look out!”

Kronos instantly appears before Isaac to strike him, but Isaac was ready, he quickley used his manifestation and guarded with his Arachne axe. Afterwards he pushed Kronos's sicle back with the sheer force of Arachne.

Kronos: “Not bad I'll admit, I kind of figured that you'd anticipate my actions. After all, I do sence Athena in there somwhere in you. She always did have a good instinct in battle.”

Isaac yelled while dodging Kronos's sicle: “Makoto, Bukimi, use your manifestations quickley! We should not hold back in this fight!”

Bukimi looks at Makoto: “He's right, let's go.”

Makoto looks back at her: “Right!”

The two of them both entered their manifestation forms and headed straight for Kronos. Bukimi quickley unleashed her Sunaarashi, covering the mountain in black sand, and quickley she turned into sand herself.

Makoto yells: “Sonikku rasen!”

Violent winds begin emiting off of Makoto as he is spiraling towards Kronos. But he is suprised when Kronos appears before hand and stops this technique with his hands.

Kronos: “Do you really think you could stop me with such a weak assault?”

Kronos grabs Makoto by the Kimono and throws him at Isaac, who was charging at Kronos at that time, Isaac is hit by Makoto and they both fall backwards into the sand.

Isaac groans while spitting sand out: “I've had enough of these deserty terrainians! Jeeze honestly, Bukimi is like a walking desert!”

Makoto says: “I'm suprised you're not angry about hit by me after he threw me.”

Isaac replied: “Trust me, I am.”

He grabbed Makoto by the Kimono.

Makoto asks: “Isaac....what're you doing!?”

Isaac yells: “Hey old guy, here's a little payback!”

Makoto yells as he is thrown: “Are you crazy!!!”

Kronos says: “That's very amusing. But very foolish, you know I could easily split him in half right mortal?”

Bukimi emerges from the sand as a shadow and says: “Who's the foolish one again?”

She manages to cut Kronos on the right shoulder. But he appears to be uneffected.

Kronos stares: “That's to be expected, you have Set's powers. But then again, as I do recall, he's never really been to much of a challenge to me woman. If these weak techniques are all you can come up with~”

Kronos instantly pops up 3 feet away from them all.

Kronos continues: “~Then I will not have to make much effort to kill any of you. Each and every one of you share but at least 20% of the actual gods powers. That's impressive indeed, but that alone will not be enough to defeat me.”

All of the sudden, a flamiing tornado blazed down towards the four of them, and stopped in between the Pseudo Shinigami and Kronos. As the flame was dying, you could begin to hear laughing in the distance.

Toku says with a cheeky grin: “Hey there guys, did ya miss me?”

Kronos says: “A fourth Pseudo Shinigami?”

Bukimi says: “Toku, what're you doing here, I thought that you were suppose to be with Isamu's group!”

Toku says: “I guess you could say I got a little lost. But it looks like you guys may need an extra hand anyway! Just who is this old goat?”

Kronos shouted: “Old goat!? Who do you think you're talking to!?”

Isaac whispers to Makoto: “He seems to have a short temper, mabey we could use that to our advantage.”

Kronos says: “I've had enough of this foolishness, I'm going to finish you here and now.”

The hourglass on his sicle turns upside down, and the sands of time are begining to pour. Will the four of them be able to take on Kronos, or will Kronos destroy them on the spot. Will this fight catch attention of the other gods in the process?
