Booth waltzed into Brennan's office and leaned casually against the door. His breath caught in his throat as he saw how the flourescent light glanced off of her sleek nut-brown hair. Brennan arrived at Booth’s apartment that evening. They had no case that giorno and therefore, she had not seen him.

‘Usually he calls when we don’t see each other all day’ she thought suspiciously.

Monday morning, bright and early, Brennan entered the Jeffersonian Institute.

She walked straight through the doors, past her office and into the office successivo to it, knowing that she was really chancing her arm.
