Some of the Volturi appeared at the very end of BD 1,setting up for part 2,so there was no fight in BD 1.From the trailer released on Wed,the Volturi do come to Forks and a fight does start,but if te read the libri then te know the outcome of the fight.

Well in the book there is not fight with the Volturi though they do have a encounter.But in the movie there will più than likely be a fight with the Volturi like what they did in New Moon :)
