What's your opinion of Dawn?

At first, I thought she was just a brat but then she grew on me but then she turned bratty again and ever since she kicked Buffy out of her own house, I just plain hated her!

Apparently Joss Whedon and Michelle Trachtenberg used to recieve mail saying "KILL OFF DAWN" and all that. I, honestly, never had a beef with her. Sure she was bratty half the time, but she wa the younger, forgotten sister. I think that was pretty much the point.

Hmm. I see your point but do te not think kicking Buffy out was a little extreme? I understand they believed that she led half the potentials to death and all that, but I mean, it was a war, technically, people were ALWAYS going to be hurt and killed, right?

I mean she acts as though she hasn't been living in the house with Buffy and DOESN'T know that going out alone is DANGEROUS.
She gets into too much trouble and if I was Buffy she'd get eaten because I wouldn't save her.

Dawn was never my preferito character because she was always a little brat that loved to complain about how her life sucked and how jealous she was of Buffy and the gang. When she tried to brigantino, brig Joyce back I kinda liked her because I could relate to how she felt but in season 7, when she supported Faith to kick Buffy out... that was the last straw! I hated her from that moment on.. I mean, she is her sister?

It was a well known fact that Buff was an only child, and Joss re-writing history was ridiculous.

Not to mention Trachtenberg was like a Hindenberg on the show. Every time they try to sell her, o get her scenes to work, I hoped Glory would just beat her with a hammer.

Sufficed to say, if i were her sister I would have jumped into Hell too. She literally killed the show. It was the first sign Joss showed that he ran out of material.
