-The fact that he was able to Amore her before he even had a soul.
-The fact that he went through horrible trials to get his soul back in order to give Buffy what she deserves.
-The fact that he was tortured and still wouldn't tell Glory that Dawn was the key.
-The fact that he was always there for her, however it was she needed him at the time.
-The fact that she's the one thing he's ever been sure of in over a hundred years.
-The fact that he loves what she is and expects nothing from her in return.

Need I go on? Because this lista could go on for a LONG time.

reason 1 ) in season 2 Spike helped Buffy when no one els was there

reason 3 )even though Spike was fair game to kill ( cause of the chip) Buffy didnt kill him

reason 8 )Buffy always came to Spike when she need help

reason 9 ) Buffy and Spike sang to each other - an had that magical baciare moment

reason 10 ) when Giles left - Buffy came to Spike for comfert

reason 11 ) Spike new the hole rape thing was wrong - thats why he got his Soul

reason 12 ) Buffy didnt kill Spike after she found out about the Frists triger

reason 13 ) when the bringers kidnaped Spike - Buffy saved him

reason 14 ) he helped train the slayers

reason 15 ) when eveyone kicked Buffy out - Spike found her and detto - the reason i Amore te is becasue ur a hell of a Women

reason 16 ) Buffy told Angle to go home cause she already had a Spike

reason 17 ) the bigest reason of all SPIKE SAVED THE WOLD !!!!!!!!!!!

In defence of Spike, Buffy did almost all of those things to him back and worse. No relationship is perfect.

Here's my synopsis on Spuffy:

From the moment I saw them together, in Season 2, I knew they were a perfect match. They're enemies, turned to allies, turned to lovers. And Buffy's expression in 'Chosen', when Spike was about to die... was breathtaking. She believed in him. He got his soul back for her. She helped him when his chip was malfunctioning. He counted the days she was dead. They were so different; yet they understood each other più than they understood themselves.

Buffy: 'I Amore you.'

Spike: 'No te don't. But thanks for saying it.'

Spike: 'A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of: You.'

.........

Spike: Don't I get a cookie?
Buffy: No!

Those are the lines that every Spuffy fan remembers, implanted in his/her head. These are the words of true lovers.

your right Spike did do a lot of those things that te said, but the one thing he never did was give up on her! He loves her più than anything, without a soul he went to get one and to me that's incredible, he died saving the world for her, he didn't tell Glory that Dawn was the key and she nearly killed him and was going to but he detto that it would destroy Buffy and he couldn't live with seeing her in that much pain so he would've let Glory kill him first, he helped save the world three times with Buffy once with a soul twice without a soul (Becoming Part 2, The Gift, and Chosen), he took care of Dawn without a soul when Buffy was dead because he promised he would! to me Spike is very loyal and passionate, he's tough yet sensitive, and tells it like it is, he doesn't pull away from Buffy but he doesn't forget what he is, Angel was always like ashamed of being a vampire and everything and he would always walk away from Buffy, to me Angel was a coward, he detto he wanted to kill Buffy (Angel 1.7) so that he could live, now I know Buffy sort of pushed for him to drink from her (Graduation giorno Part 2) but he still drank from her just so that he could live and both those examples I showed was when he had a soul, yes Spike tried to rape Buffy but he would never kill her even when he loved her without a soul and I know that again he had the chip in his head but again like the other example of Spike I showed when he almost died for Dawn without a soul (Intervention) he could've easily told Glory who the key was to save his own life but he didn't and the examples te showed were all Spike without a soul do te remember what Angel was like without a soul? yes Spike and Buffy have both tried to kill each other, yes they beat each other up all the time, yes Spike attempted to rape Buffy, yes Spike and Buffy cause each other pain but they Amore each other and that's più important!
