Cameron Diaz Reveals How She Met Husband Benji Madden

Earlier in the day, the 43-year-old actress stopped by SiriusXM and opened up about her husband Benji Madden.

Cameron revealed she met Benji, who she always thought was “hot,” when his twin brother Joel Madden and his wife Nicole Richie brought him to her house for a barbecue.

“I knew Nicole and Joel for a couple years before I met Benji,” she said. “They were over for a barbecue and Joel said, ‘Hey, can my brother come over?’ And I said, ‘Of course, this is family.’ And then [Benji] walked in the door and I was like, ‘You!’”

Host Andy Cohen had mentioned that Cameron has “dated a lot of hot guys” in the past.

“You know what? Nothing matters now that I have my husband. Like, I don’t even remember any of that,” Cameron said. “And that’s the thing. That’s how I know he’s my husband. No one compares. Everything else just kind of washes and slips away. You realize, like, ‘Oh, right. This is what the real thing is. This is what real love is. This is what real commitment and devotion is. This is the person that you build your life with.’”
