Ever since Cas said he'd spent the last year as, "a multi-dimensional wavelength of celestial intent," or something like that I've been curious as to what happened to Jimmy/his vessel in that time.

And also .. is Jimmy even still around after being blown to pieces twice? I want that to be addressed!

Exactly! I've been wondering that too. These things need to be addressed...have Dean/Sam not been curious too?! They need to ask him!

I thought that his brain went to mush. Cas was in his vessel to long and didnt Michael say 'I wont leave you a drooling mess' doesn't that mean that cas would leave jimmy all messed up? I hope that im wrong...

I don't think that Jimmy would be a 'drooling mess' because when Cas was sent back to Heaven in S4 and Jimmy was in control of his body again he was walking around and talking like he was perfectly fine. But, of course, we should take into account that after the S5 finale Cas was 'new and improved' which could mean that he is a much more powerful angel than before and his prolonged contact in Jimmy's vessel could be more damaging than before. Of course, as Dean-girlx pointed out Jimmy has been blown up twice so you wonder about that. Of course this all begs the question of what happens to Jimmy when Cas is up in Heaven. The only logical explanation that I can find is that Jimmy is gone, because in 'The Third Man' Castiel said he had spent 'the last year as a multi-dimensional wavelength of celestial intent' which suggests that he wasn't in Jimmy, since Jimmy is a human vessel and therefore could not be a multi-dimensional wavelength, and what would he have done with Jimmy when all that was happening? And even if Jimmy is gone, chillin' in Heaven I would assume, than what does he do with his vessel? It's all very mysterious and I am very curious as to know the answer.

I realize that only brought up more questions and made no attempt to answer the question at hand, but hell if I know what the answer is.

I thought that Jimmy was either dormant or he'd be temporarily in his own heaven whenever Cas went to heaven.
