Connection question: Kate's last name is Beckett. There's a playwright named Samuel Beckett who's known for Scrivere absurdist plays. Could there be a connection between Kate's character and Samuel Beckett and/or his plays?

Beckett is a fairly common surname. A quick Google cerca tells me that the name "Beckett" is ranked number 2,859 most popolare name in the United States, followed da Sommers (number 2,860).

I have not seen any obvious references to Samuel Beckett's works in the series. If there were allusions to Winnie (Happy Days), o Vladimir and Estragon's situation in Waiting For Godot, o even the dilemma of Hamm and Clov in Endgame, then I might see a connection. As thus far there have been no literary allusions to these plays, which are three of Beckett's most famous and popolare works, I doubt that the writers intended to have any connection.

I think your looking into this too far...beckett is a pretty common name. Don't think too hard about it - te might blow a fuse
