It wasn't easy narrowing it down to just 10 ladies, but I gave it my best shot!

10. Thumbelina
 "Will they like me?"
"Will they like me?"

Don't let her pint size appearance fool you...she gets into più trouble than te could ever imagine! She's sweet and just adorable, plain and simple. I Amore her outfits, and I really Amore her long flowing hair. I feel bad for her thoughout most of the movie...all she wants is to find her sweet Fairy Prince, and life just keeps throwing curve balls her way. But eventually, she overcomes her obstacles, marries her handsome Prince, and viola! She becomes a fairy!

9. Odette
"I needed to know that he loved me--for just being me."
"I needed to know that he loved me--for just being me."

I just rewatched The cigno Princess a few weeks ago, and forgot how much I liked it. Odette is a lovely Princess. She's smart, brave, and witty. She flat out turns Prince Derek down because he just liked her for the way she looks. It showed me that she has più depth. Of course, she eventually makes it to her own "happily ever after", and ends up marrying Prince Derek anyways.

8. Wendy Darling
"See how well he steers the ship, mother?"
"See how well he steers the ship, mother?"

I have always loved the movie Peter Pan, and have always wanted to travel to Neverland. I also Amore the sassy little heroine, Wendy Angela Moira Darling. She's imaginative, Ribelle - The Brave and full of spunk. I Amore her blue nightgown and her bouncy curls, and that no matter what, she will always believe in Peter Pan.

7. Princess Jasmine
"How dare you? All of you! Standing around deciding my future. I am not a prize to be won! "
"How dare you? All of you! Standing around deciding my future. I am not a prize to be won! "

The lovely Princess of Agrabah has always been a preferito of mine. She's exotically beautiful, smart, brave, flirty, witty & full of sass. She stands up for what she believes in; she wants to marry for love, and nothing else. I Amore her style, clothes, and long silky hair.

6. Pocahontas
"What am I doing? I shouldn't be seeing him again. I mean, I want to see him again."
"What am I doing? I shouldn't be seeing him again. I mean, I want to see him again."

Pocahontas is the prettiest out of all the Princesses in my opinion. I Amore her outfit and her Mother's blue necklace. She's very spiritual, which I like. She's in tune with nature and everything around her, and has a lovely Canto voice. She's not serious all the time. She actually has a very playful, adventurous side to her (such as diving off of a cliff!). But my preferito thing about her is her passion and Amore for John Smith. It's probably the most mature relationship out of all the Disney movies. She doesn't live happily ever after with John Smith, but that's what makes her realistic. Things in real life hardly ever end like a fairy tale.

5. Ariel
"If only I could make him understand. I just don't see things the way he does. I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad."
"If only I could make him understand. I just don't see things the way he does. I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad."

I adore this little mermaid. She's everything a Princess should be; outgoing, smart, brave, determined, adventurous, fun & beautiful on the inside and outside. I Amore everything about her from her radiant red hair and Canto voice to her perkiness and her need to explore and discover new things.

4. Anastasia
"Well, I don't know, it's kind of hard to think of yourself as a duchess when you're sleeping on a damp floor. But sure, yeah, I guess every lonely girl would hope she's a princess."
"Well, I don't know, it's kind of hard to think of yourself as a duchess when you're sleeping on a damp floor. But sure, yeah, I guess every lonely girl would hope she's a princess."

This Russian beauty has always been a preferito of mine. Her personality reminds me a lot of Ariel (outgoing, smart, determined, fun, beautiful). She's on a jounrney of self discovery; desperate to find out about who she is and where she comes from. I Amore the constant bantering back and forth between her and Dimitri. They are so cute and funny together. She can be a real smart ass, which I really love!

3. Belle
"Please don't leave me...I Amore you."
"Please don't leave me...I Amore you."

I have loved Belle ever since I saw Beauty and the Beast for the first time back when it came out to theatres. I was about six years old, and felt a connection to her because we looked a little bit alike (same color hair and eyes...hey, I was 6...cut me some slack!). But over the years I still felt a connection to her...we have some things in common. We both like to read, both feel stuck in a small little town, we don't really fit in with anyone, and we both just want something more...what that may be. I Amore the relationship between her and the Beast. It really is the most beautiful Amore story ever told.

2. Cinderella
"Why, it's like a dream. A wonderful dream come true."
"Why, it's like a dream. A wonderful dream come true."

I know most of te are probably really shocked that she isn't my #1. She's my preferito Princess. I've loved her for as long as I can remember. This is my preferito Disney movie AND preferito movie from my childhood. Cenerentola is so kind and polite. Like myself, she tends to avoid confrontation and just wants to please people. She's utterly beautiful and is the envy of her Step-family. No matter how much crap they put her through, she remains a sweet young lady.

1. Esmeralda
 da the way... great mask.
By the way... great mask.

There's nothing about this gypsy I don't like. I wish I could be her. She's total kick ass. She's smart and extremly witty. And she sings one of my preferito songs "God Help the Outcasts". I think it's one of the best Disney songs actually. She isn't frightened o even grossed out da Quasimodo's appearance, which says a lot about her. My preferito scene is where she stands up for him at the festival of fools. I Amore her outfits, her hair, her eyes...everything!
 Dance la Esmeralda Dance!
Dance la Esmeralda Dance!
"You mistreat this poor boy the same way te mistreat my people. te speak of justice, yet te are cruel to those most in need of your help!"
"You mistreat this poor boy the same way you mistreat my people. You speak of justice, yet you are cruel to those most in need of your help!"
"I don't know if te can hear me, o if you're even there..."
"I don't know if you can hear me, or if you're even there..."
"God help the outcasts, hungry from birth, mostra them the mercy they don't find on Earth."
"God help the outcasts, hungry from birth, show them the mercy they don't find on Earth."
I asked people that voted to rank their preferito heroine outfits, and they commentato with their ranks. A total of 24 users took part. The ranks here are an average of the ranks of everyone that commented. The scoring of the ranks was done da a total point score (combined points to each character from the lists of all of the people that participated)! For example, if somebody had Robin cappuccio as #1 on their list, then it gets 10 points. If another person has him as #2, he gets 9 points and so on. If Robin cappuccio is not in ranked in the superiore, in alto 10 on somebody's list, he gets no points.

So here are the...

ciao Fanpoppers, I am doing a review on a movie I was Scrivere that was expected to be released on TAY (Talk Among Yourselves) very soon. I have an excerpt from the intro of the review; it’s a very interesting yet dark fact-filled story of the making and behind the scenes drama behind Warner Bros’ obscure Non-Disney Film/Disney Knockoff, Quest for Calmelot.

When Warner Bros. Feature animazione was founded in ’94, they have planned to make two projects to release for theaters, with the Live-Action/Animated Hybrid Film spazio marmellata planned for the November 1996 release and the film adaption of...

I was thinking of this while watching the other giorno the Nostalgia Critic's review of the cigno Princess, and how critical and overly nitpicky he was in general towards this movie...

And that made me think how almost all non-Disney Film are treated in this way (of course, there are a few notable exceptions as the Studio Ghibli films and the Dreamworks ones), that audiences feel the need that if they are animated Film which aren't Disney, they must be held in an impossibly high standard and they must please every demand of the audience.

Why is that? Why is it that any animated non-Disney movie...
