P.S. Jessica actually has a personality, motivations, and character traits outside being "SEXEY!" She's presented as a sinister femme fatale as an homage to classic Film Noir, but the twist is that she is a genuine, loyal, brave, clever, devoted friend and wife under veneer. And her sexuality and marriage to a rabbit are played for laughs; we're SUPPOSED to find it weird and absurd that someone that sexy would be into that kind of a rabbit (irony!), yet find their relationship oddly endearing as we learn more about it because their genuine love, loyalty, and devotion for each other (which have nothing to do with physical attaction) touches a very human place in our hearts.

Not, "Let's make a girl rabbit for Bugs to fall in love with, and make her look cool so girls will want to be her, and make her smoking hot for the guys to drool over. And let's make them get together because... it's Hollywood. The boy and the girl always get together at the end." And then make no effort beyond that.

It is weird, though I don't think the two necessarily have anything to do with each other. I think a better comparisom is how hypersexualized JR is. Although that's obviously the point, and as someone mentioned, she does have depth and a personality beyond fanservice.
