As I`ve detto before: te should write the scene te mean. I would do other thing in 'Colors of the Wind' scene, for example, than the thing in other scene.
maybe adding an extra scene about kokum but the scene would be about trying to make him smile o laugh at least and if he doesn't crack,then they can just add the successivo scene when Pocahontas runs through the mais fields and thats when her friend stops her and detto that she lied for once but it was just a thought
