I think if you killed Victoria, Victor would die of a heart attack. v.v
Just because her parents are nasty doesn't mean she isn't nice.
I wish I could rip her greedy, little, self-centered puppet head off and throw it into the firey pits of HELL!
Emily loved victor with her heart and soul but knew that she couldn't be with him because he loves someone else, which is Victoria, and knew that victoria and victor were in love with each other.
plus if emily were to keep victor down in the land of the dead, he would of been heartbroken and miserable because he couldn't be with his real love victoria, who do love him back.
and you see that victoria loves victor very much. It's just that her parents wanted her to marry off rich and to be accepted by society and went to great lengths just to do that, even locking poor victoria up in her room and forcing her to marry that bon francis guy or something, which she did not want to do because she was in love with victor and wanted to search for him.
and victoria was just as sad about emily's situation as have victor. It's not like victoria hated emily. Same for emily. They both loved victor and just wanted victor to be happy, even if it means that the other would be hurt in the process.
so emily decided to let victor be with his true love victoria because she has already found happiness and peace, and victor really loves victoria. End of story!
I personally adored Victoria- not only is she my favorite character in the film but one of my favorite fictional female characters to begin with. All she ever wanted was to be accepted and understood for who she really was and not what her parents were pressuring her to be. All her life they've been pushing her down and pressuring her to be this "perfect", "proper" girl so they can train her and sell her off. I'm certain a lot of you have felt pressured into being something else and have felt a desire for freedom as well. She expresses a desire to be free and to be cared for (and her parents don't give two shits about her) but at first she doesn't really know how to find that inner strength and is a bit nervous and uncertain of herself. When she meets Victor, she meets someone she can relate to that actually knows how it feels to have been pushed around. They have similar interests, personalities, and the same desire, the same wish to feel understood. And when she witnesses him being pulled away, she learns to come out of the shell she's been forced to hide in all these years and show her true courageous side by trying to seek answers. And no matter how much they walled her up, she wouldn't stop trying (she was still prying at the doors!). Hell, she even told Lord Barkis to go fuck himself and proceeded to make sure Victor was okay. And I don't see how her ending up with Victor instead of Emily is a reason to hate her as well because what happened at the church WASN'T HER FAULT. Emily WILLINGLY gave up her chance to be finally cross over and rest in peace. It wasn't as if Victor and Emily were in a committed relationship and she intruded. It was Emily's choice. And I don't see how the way she looks is a reason as well. It's what her heart is like to be exact. To me, she's got a heart full of care, understanding, and courage and that's really all that matters. Greedy? Self-centered? Can you care to explain what she did in the movie that made her those things? I think you must mean her parents. She didn't care for money- she was anxious about not being compatible with the person her parents arranged her to marry (the arranged marriage was her parent's choice by the way. She wasn't trying to do anything for money). I'm not saying everybody has to like her. I'm just saying people should really look into the circumstances a bit deeper and just attempt to put yourself in her shoes. -.-"

I love SO MUCH Victoria and other people are unfair with her!
And i hate earing others said unfairly: "Yuck,Victoria is BAD,miss "everglot "have broken Emily's vows!"But Victoria will be killed by Barkis if Emily had not saved her!
I'm sorry but Tim Burton chose the end of the film as it is,it's great like that!<3
