could someone tell me what happen in the scene after the fight doyle had wit emily??

It was morgan telling her not to let go. After she and Doyle wrestled for a while it looked like she had the upper hand, but he stabbed her with what I think was a piece of wood. He asked her to tell him where his son was and she detto no. Then he disappeared, and morgan came in.

So Doyle lived-that's why Emily had to disappear and fake her death.
