No. They're obsessed for Twilight, like anyone could be obsessed with anything. Some of them are hysterical fangirls who scream everytime Jacob takes his shirt off. But I know people who are just fans, liking the books/movies, and discussing about it. It's normal to me.

I've seen bulky guys crying their eyes out because their soccer team lost an important match and I don't think there's a substantial difference between them and Twilight fans screaming at a film premiere.
