When Bonnie touches Elena, she sees an image of Damon, not Stefan, even though Elena's encounter with Stefan is a much bigger deal.

1x07 Elena: (speaking to Damon after Vicki is killed), te did this. This is your fault.

The song played during SE's Amore scene in 1x10, 'Cut' is about finding relief through pain. In other words, self-harm:

Last year, Julie called SE 'The true, epic Amore story of the show.' Kevin detto SE were 'Soulmates.' But are SE really the TRUE soulmates in 'The Vampire Diaries'?? I know what I think. How about you?
