Well Damon knew that it was kind of "personal" but she wanted to help her. Stefan believed so damn much about that animal diet thing, and he regrets so much about his past that he can't see what's wrong or right. Or what should happen and what not. And that's why Elena went to Damon.

He tried to help her, yes. But he wasn't clear about the sexual aspect of it. Though I'm all for Damon helping Elena, he kinda deserved it. I understand why Stefan was mad.

Yes and No. But mostly no, because Damon was helping Elena with something Stefan wasn't helping her with, and because Elena wasn't mad about it afterwards, despite the meaning, and she chose to do it knowing it was something Stefan wouldn't like.

But maybe a bit yes, because I get why Stefan was mad, even though he's far from my favorite character.

It's Stefan's fault that Elena went to Damon for help, because he was so concerned with making Elena a bunny eater like him that he wasn't giving her the proper help she deserved. Stefan was just jealous because Elena went to Damon for help and didn't trust him enough to tell him that she didn't want to live off animal blood.
