When te end a season as shocking as The Vampire Diaries just did, te have to make yourself available to answer a lot of questions. That’s just what Julie Plec did, and she cleared up a lot of mystery surrounding the last episode in Season 3.

I think having Elena go from “always Stefan” to “I don’t know about always” because of her feelings for Damon is supposed to be a very very slow progression of her feelings from Stefan to Damon.

feeling she can no longer deny. I think they will grow on their own, change and evolve, but this time Elena will have to do most of the walking, chasing, running. Right into the arms of what she was trying to escape.

Then, the scene Team Delena (and Rose, apparently) have been waiting for all this time . . . a real, "hot and heavy" baciare between Elena and Damon.
