Ok, so we all know, he's the bad guy, but I really think he had the potential to do più than what he did. I see Light as a great character, I see what he wants and I understand it (even if I don't agree on his way of doing things)
Why do I think he's awsome?
First, Light was able to hack into his father's FBI information with out even tryinig, he set up a plan for a bus incident all planed in time da the Dath Note.Therefor he took clasified information that belonged to the FBI secret aggent that was on the bus and used it for his own personal intentions and killed every simgle person that stood in his way with out making it too obious. Light, also took a risk da getting rid of the Note Book and giving it's ownership to another person to prove his "inosence" to L. He set things up so that the other owner of the Death Note did the killing FOR him and to make L beleive that he wasn't Kira and still pulled it off. He tricked Rem on his intent to kill L, and it worked, he knew that if Rem loved Misa that she would do anything for her, and da that he regained victory o so he thought and in the end Misa was saved and Rem unfortunately died.
Not to mention his a "player", he tricked Misa because he found an interest in her Shinigami eyes, he convinced her that she could become the Godess of his new world, and so Misa was fooled and tricked da his words not realizing Light had no feelings for her. Light also messed with Takada's head, he did TOO tell herthat she would become the Godess of his new world and used her!
I think that A character that did all this should be special and tell's face it!! Death Note would be boring with out Light, Light is the coolest character out there (once again I'm not agreeing that he should kill) but I think that he was a great and briliant master mind.
