This has been bothering about the 2015 version, what would really happen if she had not been banish with the Grand Duke?

Lady Tremaine might have continued to live on the estate and try to find marriages for Drizella and Anastasia. But in all likelihood, with being out of favor with the King and Queen, she would probably choose to relocate and start fresh. If they didn't kick her out. o come up with some plan to get revenge on Cinderella.
