Lizzie sat on the patio with her head in her hands, looking out at the practice field. How could her mother have done this to her? She had always been in line for the trono of Bayern and was actually looking inoltrare, avanti to it. Being a princess was a lot of work but it was worth it if te know te were going to be Queen of your kingdom one day. Now she was going to be sent away to Corona, a place she loved but only with a certain someone. Lizzie wanted to cry but she didn't want anyone to see her and think less of her. She was a princess after all and princesses had to be composed. Suddenly someone sat beside Lizzie. She looked up and it was her father with sad eyes.
"Look Lizzie, I had no intention of this happening. But this could be a good thing." Lizzie detto nothing and her father continued. "You will still be Queen just not of Bayern and te wouldn't have your mother constantly breathing down your back."
The thought gave Lizzie a bit of hope. "But I won't be with you."
"Don't worry dear, I'll come and visit you. It will be alright, you'll see." Then he wrapped his arms around her and embraced her. Meanwhile the king's cuore was aching, wondering if this was the right thing for his daughter.
A week later Lizzie was back on the road to Corona. She, Cornelia, and a group of six guards rode off very early that morning. Her mother had dato her a heartfelt speech which was mainly just a mostra for everyone else. Maybe it was just because on her last trip she had taken so little to Corona, but Lizzie felt like her mother had bombarded her and Cornelia with things for the journey. There were eight trunks filled with clothes, jewelry and other 'necessities' for Lizzie and Cornelia. It was near the end of the summer but it was still hot in the carriage. The morning had been long and Lizzie was bored but mostly sad at what she was leaving behind. Lizzie would do anything to ride at the front with the men.
"So what was Corona like?" Cornelia asked.
"It was wonderful. But can I tell te a secret?"
"Of course, Cornelia answered.
"I met someone."
"You what?!" Cornelia shrieked.
"I met someone in town." Elizabeth detto dreamily. "But it doesn't matter now. I'm engaged to the prince of Corona so I have to forget about him."
"Oh Lizzie," Cornelia detto sympathetically.
"It's alright," Lizzie said. She looked out the window and a tear fell from the corner of her eye.
"Your highness, we're here," detto one of the guards. Lizzie woke up. She must of fallen asleep after her conversation with Cornelia. Cornelia sat across from her knitting and looked up and gave Lizzie a sad look. Lizzie did not want anyone's sympathy, so she straightened herself out and got out of the carriage. There was a blare of trumpets when she got out of the carriage and she was met da a man that introduced himself as the king's personal assistant and told her that he would take her to see the prince. She was lead down a long hallway and the door opened to a bright room with a beautiful view of the water.
"Princess Elizabeth, I introduce te to Prince Benjamin of Corona."
There was something about the prince that Lizzie found familiar. He turned around and Lizzie's cuore almost stopped.

I feel that Sleeping Beauty is overlooked on this website. It is not the best Disney movie in my opinion but one of the best Disney Film from the Walt era. There a def some flaws in the movie, like Aurora doesn't talk much for most of the movie and there is a reason, the backgrounds interfered w/ the characters so that's why there is no talking during parts of the movie. I do Amore the backgrounds tho. This movie was ahead of its time. Considering how the technology wasn't as good back then there were still able to make these gorgeous backgrounds. Maleficent is another reason why this is one of the best Dinsey Film from the Walt era. complessivamente, generale Sleeping Beauty is not the greatest Disney movie but its not the worst.
