If most of te like me have grown up with The Little Mermaid and have followed the Film and TV shows, I think te realize when it comes to the story of the rebellious redhead from under the sea, it's not completely there.

Now I didn't see The Little Mermaid in theaters, but a lot of te did. It after all was the highest grossing animated film at that time. And of course, te all loved it. So when te found out that Disney was making an animated series about the movie, te of course were very excited. I myself grew up watching the series on VHS's and one of the VHS's I owned was "In Harmony."

And in that episode, we see a flashback as to how Ariel met her best friend, Flounder. We see that they met when they were young.

Then comes the sequel where we see that Ariel has a daughter. OK.

But then years later, we have the prequel film, "Ariel's Beginning." Where we see Ariel and platessa, passera pianuzza meeting for the first time, but what's this???????? They're not young, They're both TEENAGERS!!!

What. The. HELL?!?!?!??!

te know, truthfully, I kinda like Ariel's Beginning and I even like the way Ariel and platessa, passera pianuzza meet for the first time in the movie. It's quite cute and adorable, but it's like the producers didn't even watch the series before making the movie!

When te make a prequel film, te have to pay attention to detail. Which means te have to look at the original fonte material and carry off from that. That is one of the most important things.

In closing, if they insist on remaking the way Ariel and platessa, passera pianuzza meet, then I say they do a remake series. A remake series leaves a lot of room for più stories and ideas. For example, early episodes could mostra a younger, skinnier Ursula working in the palace before becoming the Sea Witch. There could be più adventures, più drama, più everything!
