I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong o effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green fuoco is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cenerentola was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of te might know that Mulan is my preferito princess and she’s been number 1 on my lista for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in Amore with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist icone in my...

Sorry it's long. I have a lot of beliefs about these three to respond to! May get preachy!

I really hate all the hate the old princesses get, especially Snow White. She has a lot più personality than she is dato credit for (more than many of the recente heroines have, too). she’s got a sassy sense of humor, she’s unbelievably emotionally strong despite the horrible abuse and near murder she went through twice (the victim blaming she and Cenerentola get is rather disgusting and hypocritical), she never gave up hope about meeting her Amore again, she didn’t need to run around chasing boys...

10. Aurora
I have nothing against her, but she is not that Ribelle - The Brave in my opinion. The only thing Ribelle - The Brave that comes to my mind of her is to talk with a boy that te don't know, and then flirt with him. To me, that is something that takes an outgoing person to do, and I'm not that outgoing.

9.Cinderella
Again, I have nothing against her, but she is still not that brave. Sure she is brave, but not as Ribelle - The Brave as the other people on this list. She worked as a servant girl almost all her life. And that my friends, is something I would despise doing. But she didn't just run away. So that is why it got her...

I decided to write this because there's always a moment where each of these princesses aren't happy so well here we go :)

The only rule I had was that the princess has to mostra any feeling except happiness for majority of the scene so not the whole scene that's too hard to find almost at least!

Snow White: The Forest Scene

This is in my opinion one of the scariest movie moments, maybe even the scariest, it scares me whenever I watch the scene. What makes me Amore this scene so much is the animation, it's so well done that it scares me. This scene clearly shows that Disney has a dark side!...

Alright it's Mulan's turn. She's my preferito princess so this should be fun.

Let's start off da addressing Mulan's inclusion into the lineup. She's the only princess who's not royalty in anyway, she does not marry prince nor is she born into royalty. Some people are glad to see Mulan included. Others have a real problem with it. Now to all te nitpicky bastards out there, here are the reasons why Mulan was added. 1.She fits criteria (singing, animal friends). 2.Her movie was moderately successful. 3.She's closest thing Disney's got to an Asian princess. 4.She's a great role model for young...

First of all, I would like to say huge THANK te to all of you, who participated in the countdown, and especially to those of you, who left comments.

Here are the results of Best Villain Defeat Countdown as of June 2011.

10. Ratcliffe's defeat

The problem with this defeat was that the viewers are left with the feeling that the villain did not get what he deserved. Sure he's to go to prison and all, but this does not seem to outweigh the fact that he almost started a war and wounded a person.

I thought to myself: Why just restrict yourself to their singing? I mean, te have nothing better to do except that entry to that dA contest te keep procrastinating.
All the princesses, sadly, have American accents. Even though most of them aren't American. Goddamnit. Would it kill for Belle to have a sweet French accent and Aurora to have a German one? Jus' sayin'.
Anyway, yes, speaking voices. This took some thought. On with the countdown!
Go find your own fucking swearing warning.

9) Belle

On Ariana McGill's fifth birthday, she received a gift from her loving parents. It was the kind of gift that was not particularly expensive, nor extravagant. And yet, it would remain precious to her for years to come. It was a storybook titled The Little Mermaid. On the cover was a painting of a beautiful princess with long blonde hair and a shiny blue pesce tail. The story soon became Ariana's favourite, the one she wanted read aloud da her parents every night.

"Thunder crashed and lightning struck in the stormy sky," read Ariana's mother, Jane. "The ship tossed...

10.Someday My Prince Will Come
Coming in last place, Snow White's song "Someday My Prince Will Come". (I know we're not used to Snow White coming in last place, so try to contain your shock.) It's a quick but sweet song about her wanting her prince and her to be reunited. It's really a lovely song but people complained it was a bit too short.

One of the subjects that interest me the most about Film (including DP movies) is the box-office. I think that if used in the right way (I mean, inflation-adjusting things), it might be a good way to compare Film and understed why they are popolare o not. So I spent some time researching and I finally came up with the North American grosses of the 10 DP Movies. Hope te enjoy my research, my commenti and my images.

#10 - The Princess and the Frog - $107.7 million
If the word "flop" applies to any of the DP Movies, unfortunately, it's this one. The Princess and the Frog's marketing was...

Well, I want to share some of my opinions with you, but I don't want to do it with superiore, in alto ten lists - So I'll do one articolo for each princess, using the Top/middle/bottom categories from my last article. And naturally, I start with Snow White.

Character: Bottom – Don’t get me wrong, I adore Snow White. But I have a hard time relating to her. For one, I’m a slob. There is nothing in the world I hate più than tidying up something – I don’t mind cleaning, but keeping my things properly sorted out is an ongoing battle. So seeing Snow White all chipper about doing it, always annoys...

I used to Amore the Disney Princesses. Anyone who remembers when I was a regular addict to this website knows that I loved them. But something’s changed. I just don’t remember what I ever saw in them. This article, of course, is opinion only and I am in no way trying to insult anyone o suggest that they are wrong in liking the Disney Princesses, but I just don’t feel the same way about them anymore. I still Amore the Film they’re in, for the art and entertainment value. But as characters, I really must say I find the majority of these leading ladies to be flat,...

This articolo is based on my opinion and first Film only. Not all of the Disney Princess villains did a big mistake. But there are 3 villains who, I think, made the greatest mistakes.

3 Villains Who Make the Biggest Mistakes

Evil Queen

Yes, she wants to kill Snow White secretly. She transforms into a scary old hag that Snow White doesn't know her. But she makes one great mistake: putting poison into the mela, apple which has love's first baciare for an antidote. Doesn't she see perfectly that Snow White has a lover: the prince? And she makes an assumption that the dwarfs will bury Snow White alive. That's...

Happy Father's giorno everybody! The countdown has come to an end so here's the articolo about the results! Just a warning, a lot of the dads are going to have the same sentences like "We don't see this dad with his son/daughter" but that's what happens when there's dads that are either killed off early in the movie o aren't the main focus of the story :P

19, 18, and 17 Lord Dingwall, Lord Macintosh, and Lord MacGuffin.
So it's pretty clear why they were taken off first; they were really just comic relief and we didn't see them with their sons too much. We can tell they do care...

superiore, in alto 10! Because there are just so many wonderful songs, fortunately I've organized them to perfection. Any-who I Amore my lista guys, just Amore it.

10. Once Upon A Dream

It's so adorable, plus it's based on the ballet composition and I Amore classical Musica so it just makes sense I'd Amore it. Unless I'm just speaking out of ignorance, its words which aren't very meaningful. Nonetheless it's beautiful and if I had to pick a song that embodied fairytales it would be this one. Why I may seem vague, I think it's a timeless classic to be adored da many generations.

Welcome to the results of the countdown for Which Disney Princess Has the Best Speaking Voice. This sondaggio was so much fun to work on! Thanks to all the people who participated in it. I'm so sorry, but I decided to only chose three commenti from every sondaggio and try to fit any further opinions into my paragraphs. Also, I've shortened a few comments, because for some reason my mind really isn't comfortable with the longer comments. Now, without any further ado, let's look at the outcomes.

11. Snow White

Snow White went out very quickly, with users claiming that her voice is much too high to be likable....

The Most Elegant Disney Princesses

I really like elegance, so I decided to make a lista of the most elegant princesses. Turns out less than half of the princesses are really elegant. Keep in mind that I didn't just rank them based on how they act, but also on how they look and my first impressions. Also just because someone's royal, it doesn't mean they are elegant. (like Prince Harry) I apologize in advance if this articolo is poorly written.

13) Rapunzel

When I first saw Rapunzel, I didn't think she was elegant at all and when I saw Tangled, turns out I was right. She doesn't act o look elegant,...

11. Mulan & Shang

Imo they're più best Friends than a couple, their first meeting is hilarious though and I Amore how Mulan isn't afraid to mostra off her feelings for Shang in a subtle way and how Shang chose to not kill Mulan despite the fact that women wheren't allowed in the army, it shows that...

“Rapunzel” is the kind of story that consistently ranks highly in people’s lists of their preferito fairy tales. With a dramatic plot, interesting characters, symbolic motifs, and the underlying theme of the redeeming power of love, the tale certainly seems to deserve such adoration. Grimm’s version of the story is perhaps the most known retelling,
 Grimm's Rapunzel
Grimm's Rapunzel
although that may have changed as of 2010 with Disney’s adaptation, Tangled, a movie just as rife with symbolism as its literary inspiration. Although both are variations on the Rapunzel narrative, Disney’s movie veers...
