Since Merida from "Brave" and Sofia from "Sofia the First are new girls in the Disney block they're trying to figure out which group they belong to the "Official" Princesses o the "Non" Princesses.

hedwig_wolf I think Sofia on the left (non princess), and Merida on the right (princess). Because even though Sofia's a princess she's not going to be in a movie and she's aimed toward younger girls while Merida will be the first Disney/Pixar princess and will be in a movie just like the others.
