	DreamyGal said: When I was 5, and waiting on Disney's version to come out on video, my Mom found another cartoon version of The Little Mermaid, and she bought it for me (probably hoping that it would make me shut up about wanting the other one!). Well, it was the original version where she dies in the end...my Mom didn't know that it would end that way...lol. I think it's more deep, more tragic, more beautiful than the Disney's version. Besides, there are so many fans who are against of remaking Cinderella, Snow White etc. because it seems they're going to ruin the classics, but they don't think that it was Disney who kinda ruined the Andersen's story.
