She'd be like "What do you mean you can talk to people with it, Eric? Say Scuttle, what do you think?"
And Scuttle'd be all "Don't listen to landlubber over there; this here's a talkchamacallit! Humans use it when they're hungry but don't have any food handy. It takes a 'fooding call' across their people until someone turns up at their house with this stuff they call pizza. It sticks to things and is practically inedible, like all human food."
