Then there's Beast who assumes that just because Belle is a beautiful woman she won't love him.
I'm going to quote the Nostalgia Chick here: Shang grew up in a time where men and women had very different roles, so it's nice to see that he actually got over his culturally-imposed prejudice. In the end, he knows what Mulan is really like, and he still comes a-knocking.
He might have said "did they send me daughters when I asked for sons" in the beginning, but other than that, we really don't see him do or say anything else that could really be considered biased, especially not for the way he had been taught to think. We don't see him joining in with the men singing about how they want trophy wives in "A Girl Worth Fighting For." And in the end, he falls for Mulan because she is everything he had been taught a woman should not be- intelligent, brave, she stood up for herself, she had strong convictions. He actually respected her, which is more than I can say for most of the princes.
I've already stated my reasons for Phillip.
