Aurora is boring 'cause of her "personality" not 'cause she has lack of screen time. To me, Aurora isn't boring and has a personality. Its just not as easy to detect as Ariels, Pocahontas, Jasmine, and everyone else. Why people say that Ariel only became human because of Eric is just ridiculous. Part of Your World was sang before she met Eric. She had been collecting human things for long before she met Eric. Eric just happened to be the thing/person that pushed Ariel over the edge. She finally had a reason to go after her dream. On a side note I don't find Belle 'perfect'. In fact I find her to be a little flawed. She is my second favorite DP so no loss of love because of it either way. posted più di un anno fa.

	maryksand picked Ariel didn't become human just for Eric.: Aurora is actually the most responsible princess out all seeing as she was the only one unaffected by teenage rebelliosness and longing for fulfilling personal goals at the expense of her duties. Even when confronted with the shocking truth about her princess status, her entire life being a lie and subsequently being forbade to see Phillip (or at the very least a random charming stranger she considered him to be) ever again, Aurora, heartbroken and confused as she is, follows the "aunts"/fairies to the castle nonetheless, willing to expose herself to the life she possesses virtually no knowledge on and fulfill her princess obligations. Ariel becoming a human/selling her voice for a man has to be the most contrived, half baked and lazy argument against her seeing as it is contradictory to the point where it explicitly neglects the events of the existing canon in which she dreamt of becoming a human long before even laying her eyes on Eric. Also Cinderella. As for Belle, I don't think she is perfect, my primary issue with her character is exactly the fact that she is profoundly flawed yet passed for some sort of a paragon of virtue and the epitome of moral/intellectual superiority by the movie while evidently not living up to this established concept. posted più di un anno fa.

I wish people would stop saying that she's stupid for going to great lengths and sacrificing so much for her dream. If you had an abusive parent, you'd be wanting outta there, too.
