Her character is much better-rounded than Fa Li's. Li is quite boring and bland and I hate that unhappy look she always have on her face, but I still likes her, even if only a bit.

Fa Li is just there. And pushes her daughter to be something she isn't. Don't like her, she is bland is ugh...

I guess I should comment more about Elinor since I only complained about how bland Fa Li is. So, I love how prim and proper she is at the beggining of the movie, very regal. But I also love that she becomes more carefree at the end and I specially like that she keeps her character even as a bear.

For some reason, she strikes me as Hera, my favorite goddess from Greek mythology.

I do love Fa Li though.

I know Elinor is more of an interesting/more developed character, but personally I'm not a fan of her... she's okay, but I prefer Fa Li. Not big on either though.

Haven't seen Brave yet.
