Even if it's not, it has caught on and I will always think of him as Adam :3

I hate it when people go and claim that it's his real canon name and whatever blahblahblah. It was just a mistake, and Disney Wikia and other sources do not help. It's not worse than the "Ferdinand mistake", though.

Disney has confirmed that the only "official" names for him are Beast and The Prince. Adam as I understand is a fan-made name.

On a side note, the "Yes" picture is some amazing Belle fan art!

I always will, the handsome Prince and all Princes need a name. He cant be called Prince Beast- it has gone viral even into official merchandise, so I say why not.? Its not killing anyone, and it is practically canon or very very close to- just cause we don't have the almighty word, doesn't mean anything. Ursula is Ariel's taboo Aunt in a way, the filmmakers just decided to let people figure it out, instead of putting it in the script. Not everything needs to be spelled out or official by contract. That's like saying to a very close friend who you might call your sister or brother, " But you are not really my sister or brother"- there is an old saying "you dont have to be blood to be family", just cause they are not officially related doesn't make them any less related- (a different example, but one I thought of.)

Besides, when it comes to movies and/or books if it makes sense, I always ignore the Head " Peoples" when they " have their almighty say" on what is canon and what is not. If it sounds good, or follows a storyline. Then its Canon to me. Going through the same stupid thing with Star Wars EU right now.

I never go by what fans say, ever. I go by facts, not by fiction. Sure I'm a dark imaginative cloud, but I try to be accurate when it comes to whatever I'm passionate about.
