War is one of the most dangerous places to go, especially if she had to be a boy, while she was a girl. There was a 50/50% chance she could of been killed, and she went without her family knowing, which only put more pressure on the situation. Even though Anna risked her life for a loved one too, she did it at last minute. Throughout the beginning of the movie, she was also just concerned about whether or not she could of been with Hans. In my opinion, I think she would of left Arendelle just to be with him if Elsa hadn't shown her powers. Also, right after Elsa shot her in the heart with magic, Anna got mad at her, even though she still wanted her sister to go back with her. If Anna was more selfless, I think she wouldn't of gotten as mad and tried reasoning out with Elsa more compassionately.

She sacrificed not only her freedom for her father, but any chance of living the adventure she desperately wanted. She was just incredibly lucky that the Beast had to find love.

Anna and Belle got nothing out of what they did, while Mulan at least admits she did it partly for herself.

I don't think people give Anna enough credit. she acted a bit selfishly in the beginning, though I can't wholly blame her for being desperate, but after that she owns up to it and is determined to make things right, even though it isn't her fault.

Even the others didn't sacrifice their life just like Anna did to her true love. Belle is next but I don't think Mulan and Cinderella are that selfless.

Really, rapunzelisgold_? If your sister who you'd been trying to reach out to your entire life had hurt you, you wouldn't get mad? She spent the entire movie trying to bring back and help her sister, and wanting to bring back summer, not only for herself but for all of Arendelle. She does one thing for herself and that's accept Hans' proposal and get mad when Elsa won't bless the marriage, which is understandable as Anna was so desperate to be loved. She really shouldn't be criticized as much for that.

Belle, Mulan and Cinderella are very selfless too, but Anna's the most.

she was risking her life every single day she knew what would happen if she was caught she would have been killed on the spot by the army or in battle She knew that even though she had a 20% chance of survival that was better than losing her beloved father not to mention she saved everyone including Shang not once but twice Mulan was very lucky that she survived the war and returned to her very worried parents look at how relieved her father was wheb she came back how he dropped the sword and crest and just pulled her into a fierce hug after not knowing if she was dead or alive that's why she's the most selfless for me she risked her life again and again to save her loved ones and all of China
