MaidofOrleans picked Aladdin:
Eliminated:
Mulan
Pocahontas
Frozen
Brave

This film isn't timeless whatsoever. He wouldn't understand a lot of the jokes, and I don't think he'd like Jasmine as a character since he preferred more demure female characters.

Aang_Lite picked The Princess and the Frog:
^ I don't know if he didn't prefer them, I think it's more that there really wasn't an alternative. Either you where sweet and demure, or you where loud and a whore. There really wasn't that much of a grayscale.

Anyway with this, while I do think he would love the movie for it's animation and characters, I do think he would find the songs a bit clunky and story line a bit too easy. A wonderful movie, but a lot more flawed than the rest of the films listed above.

AudreyFreak picked Rapunzel - L'intreccio della torre:
^just because there's black people in it? whether or not he's racist, he's used nonwhites in his stuff before (Tiger Lily, the Butterfly Woman, etc.).

anyway, I'm struggling between this, Aladdin (for the reasons mentioned already) and PATF, because all THREE are too modern, especially with the heroines, which I think would matter to Walt. Tiana and Jasmine aren't demure like he likes, and Jasmine and Rapunzel would be too headstrong and not like that they left their homes, or that there's less of the kind of romance he liked.

but I think saying Walt wouldn't get the 90s jokes in Aladdin because he's not from the 90s isn't a really good argument. I think it goes without saying that he'd be kept up to date in the magical event that he came back.

if anyone else can make a convincing argument for the other two I might change my vote though.

He'd probably find Flynn unlikeable and not at all charming.

8804 picked The Princess and the Frog:
There isn't much here that speaks to Walt's idea of "romance." Tiana is a workaholic. She does not believe in romance. Plus, unlike Cinderella, Tiana has a mean streak. I don't think Walt would like this movie.

Emmalou13 picked The Princess and the Frog:
PATF for the same reasons as before.

Tangled being in CGI in my opinion, is not a very good reason. If he came back he would have to accept the fact that things change. In fact, I think he would be proud of the unbelievably talented people creating the CGI movies.

Swanpride picked Aladdin:
Same reason...not timeless and Walt wouldn't get the jokes.

Mongoose09 picked Aladdin:
I just think he'd enjoy this one the least, for reasons stated above.

"Just because Tangled is in CGI"

^ that's the exact reason why I'd WANT to show him Tangled. I think he'd be fascinated by the new technology.
